Good Trade or Bad Trade?

Recommended Posts

Kevin Garnett for Kevin Love straight up?

I need help ASAP cause I'm 0-2 despite having like the 4th most points for in my 12 person league. I'm playing a 2-0 team this week and we're about tied, and my next 2 weeks are against strong teams as well. I could use the help that KG gives me now, but would it be giving up too much down the line once Love comes back?

I don't know very much about fantasy basketball, so help is appreciated.

Love is top 5 player in the NBA. Garnett isn't even top 15

Again though, Love is out for another few weeks and the next few weeks are crucial for me. I play scrubs for most of the season after these next 2-3 weeks.

I think I'm just trying to convince myself it's a good trade to make. We have a big bench in this league, so there's nobody decent that I can just pick up from free agency.

Can't believe I made this trade. Despite thinking Love would be out for a month longer than he was, it was the dumbest thing I've ever done in any fantasy sport.

Anyways, I had Love, Lebron, and Harden in my 12 team league at the beginning of the season. Essentially 1/2 of the top 6 players. Now I only have Lebron...

Just traded Harden & Garnett for Lowry, Rudy Gay, and Alonso Gee. I feel like I made another dumb trade, but I'm desperate.

I'm 0-4 despite being a top 3 scorer every single week except one, where I was 5th. I have the 4th most points scored, but over 500 more points against than the next closest. The guy with the least points scored is 3-1, and 3rd to last is also 3-1. I feel so cheated with my schedule.

Also, would Hibbert for Batum straight up be a good trade? I have a lot of good players at C/PF, but no great players. Hibbert would be my best, and I just traded away Garnett.

I'd be left with Boozer, Nene, Vucevic, ONeal, Hawes, and Maxiel at C/PF positions. I know it's a lot of mediocre players, but Batum should get back to form soon... Right?

Why did you all let me do this...? Hahaha.

At least the Hibbert for Batum trade panned out super well for me. I'm 2nd in points for (out of 12), even after starting 0-5, but I'm on a 7 game winning streak and up to 8-6.

Problem is, there's are a ton of guys hovering around the last few playoff spots at 9-5 and 8-6. Wish me luck.

    • I don’t think people are saying that picking up the option s a call for the pitchforks. We would have had to do things differently a couple of years back to make declining the option a valid move. We didn’t and here we are. People largely accept that. The patter it adheres to, reinforces the nausea we feel when the idea of an extension, and at top of the market no less, comes up.  One that he hasn’t shown he deserves.   Same as he did not deserve to be drafted 1.1. Look at Pavia and what really is the difference? Bryce is a nice guy and Pavia is an asshole lol. They are both no margin for error non day one talents. One went undrafted.
    • We hate losing. I don't know Bryce to hate him. His play as a QB, I absolutely hate. It's just not good enough. If there were a lottery held to select the order and all 32 starting QBs could be drafted as the starting QB for whatever team selected them, how long do you think it would be before Bryce's name was called? Top 10, top 20, bottom 8? Think about it.  For me, having never seen back to back games with franchise QB level performance in 3 years tells me what I need to know. We still need to be looking for our solution at QB.
    • Dude, I'm saying the Cardinals have proven they know nothing. Not saying keeping Bryce is the best choice long term, just saying that we've made the right move for this moment in time.  But man, the Cardinals are never a blueprint for success. Haven't been since they were in Chicago.
