Bryce has the clutch gene no one can argue that. The problem is that we wouldn't be in half of these situations if Bryce was throwing for more than 120 yards a game. I like Bryce and I hope he can figure it out, but you can't consistently win high level NFL games throwing for less than 200 yards. I thought he turned the corner last year after his benching as it looked like he and Dave had the confidence in each other to throw the ball down the field. I don't know where that has been this year, but it seems they've forced Bryce into a checkdown game manager. It's leading to wins so that's a good thing but when push comes to shove late in the year when things get down, we really need to open up the playbook and let Bryce sink or swim and prove he's the guy going forward. -
Bryce technically having to make some throws doesn’t mean they aren’t winning in spite of below average QB play. Every time a team wins with a meh QB play holding them back…..the QB still technically participates in the game and you can cherry pick some random play. Bryce got them in a huge hole vs Miami for example and Rico dug them out with crazy play. Using that as an example of believing in Bryce is crazy work -
