I sort of agree with the auto vs manual thing...but I sure do prefer the auto when you get stuck in rush hour traffic.  Today's autos also allow you to drive almost in manual...so it's a good compromise...in my opinion anyway.

Traffic has never really bothered me and my mustang has a cable clutch. I've driven a couple rentals with the manual mode and it just doesn't feel natural.

Have you gotten rid of the shitty plastic quadrant under the dash and put in a firewall cable adjuster yet? if not, I highly recommend it.

I kept it until it broke because the clutch I put in it destroyed that plastic piece of poo. I went with Ford Racing's because it was a little cheaper then Steeda's.

  • 4 months later...

you guys ever taken your cars to the drag strip and ran them?

We used to go to Shadyside in Shelby all the time on Thursdays for "test and tune"

You can pull anything you drive down there onto the track and let her rip.

    • BPA in draft all the way. Address your biggest needs in free agency.
    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
