Where is our $123 million?

So let me try to clarify this...

2011: Williams is the starter in name, but Stewart gets the majority of the snaps, therefore Williams is the backup.

Got it.

2011 - Stewart is the primary RB - hence leading the division in % of offensive snaps played.

2012. Williams flat out was demoted to backup.

Your 2012 logic is Cam Newton breaking his leg and Clausen getting more snaps therefore you claim Cam is the backup. Williams was officially demoted in 2012....Stewart's injury got him back in the door

Try very hard to wrap your head around this.

Last year Keuchly was the starting MLB, not Beason.

Got it?

21.5 million in the current starting o-line (11.7 to Gross and 6.4 to Kalil)

18 million in our starting lb's.(9.5 to Beason)

15.5 million in the d-line(13 to CJ)

13 million in all 3 running backs.(8.2 to D-will)

11 million in dead money(mostly Anderson, Wharton, Gamble and Mare)

10 million to entire receiving core(smith 5.75 and olsen 3.7)

7.1 million to the current starting secondary,2 safeties and 3 corners(Godfrey 3.7)

6 million to Cam

All that adds up to 102.1 million. So the rest is just in depth.

The contracts aren't really that bad. Just the lack of productivity in the players. The scouting Dept is failing us. A lot of our starting players would not be picked up by other teams if released. Lafail, for example, is not even 4th string on most teams.

I'm just saying you can't have it both ways. Yes, Williams was "officially" demoted last year; but, "officially," he was also the starter the year prior. I don't have an issue on anyone's opinion on who the better back is (heck I hardly post at all)...I just found that comment to be a little hypocritical how in one breath you call Stew the starter because he was officially handed the reins, but don't give credit to Williams when that was his role the year prior.
