I think many of us who don't want him at 14 don't really dislike him at all. And if he had run a 4.5 or better and demonstrated he was 100%, then I and others would have been great with him. But the fact he is not 100% after 5 months of rehab after not going through surgery is a huge concern with the draft 2 weeks away. The fact that he thought he would run a 4.4 and he wasn't even close is a huge concern. If we were like Minnesota and had 2 first round picks I would surely consider using one on him. But we have 5 picks and can't afford to miss on any. Many of us remember Hogan and Gettis and Otah who were supposed to be 100% and for whatever reason took much longer than expected. I am very concerned that Allen will do the same.

His health and the rehab is a concern. But not his speed. Especially, when the man goes in thinking he can run 4.4 means he probably ran a 4.4 before. I don't go into a 40 yard dash thinking ima hit 5.5 bc I probably never have. I'm aiming for a 5.8 the least.

You could even add Stewart to that list. He's been productive, but injured from day one. I'm kind of over drafting injured guys expecting they'll return to form.
