Ok We got the 4th Pick... Now

I officially want to start the Impeachment process on Proudiddy since it is obviously his fault that this has occurred to the team.

lol, just kidding but lets start figuring out what our options are now:

So with Noel, McLemore both gone for sure (most likely) I am looking at Bennett, Lin, Otto and Olidipo. I can settle for on of them even though I was high on the McLemore wagon for the last few months. Anybody else feel there is another player that should deserve our consideration for the 4th pick?

I have a body is a huge G-Town fan and he said Otto is strictly a small forward, so I wouldn't really include him in that list with MKG already here.

But the rest of the guys are fair game.

However if we choose to offer Hendo and BG8 exercises his player option, we can scratch Oladipo off of the list as well.

That leaves us with Bennett (who would be a great pick a four) or Len (who would be a great pick if we traded down).

Dont be so quick to cross McLemore name off the list. If Orlando takes Burke, he's definitely going to be there at no.4.

With MKG, let's cross out Otto Porter from the list. Other than McLemore, the guys that I would seriously look at are: Anthony Bennett, Victor Oladipo, and Alex Len, but the only one that I would truly want is Bennett. Im not a huge fan of Oladipo bc imo he's another Gerald Henderson and I dont know if I like Len enough at no.4. I would look to trade down if Noel, McLemore, and Bennett are all off the board when our pick comes.  Portland have shown a ton of interest in wanting to trade up for Oladipo. Like I said in the other thread, I dont know if I love it but I would not mind trading down with Portland at no.10 and hope that a Cody Zeller or Shabazz Muhammad is there.

Dude, there is no way in hell Mclemore will be there at 4. Somebody will make a crazy trade to get up to Washington's spot to take him

You told me once already bud. Can you read the future?

Just like how Star will not fall to 14 right?

Noel is a Cav. There's no way Orlando pass up on Trey and Washington isnt going to trade away the luck to possess the no.3 spot. The only reason why McLemore would not be there is if Orlando takes him at 2.

Gilbert said that they are open to trading the first pick...

In my opinion, it's not worth it in this draft unless you won the lottery.

I wanted that number one pick for Noel, but I'm not wanting Cho to trade away our assets in this weak draft.

Its not going to be easy for a team to trade up for that spot. They'll end up staying at the no.1 spot. Noel and McLemore are not worth enough for a team to trade up for. I'd stay put at no.4 and take the BPA (Bennett, Len, Shabazz).

I'm starting to think about jumping on the "SHABAZZ" bandwagon. What happens to the love for the kid??? Forget the media attention and take the BPA: Shabazz Muhammad.

It might be my homerisim.... But I'd take Bullock over Shabazz. It's just something about the kid that seems funny to me (shrugs)

You can jump off it quick...

Some GM's said they wouldn't be surprised if he fell out of the lottery...

People are saying his work ethic is poor and he is not a good teammate. Oh yeah, he also lied about his age.

On top of that, his combine performance was down right dreadful lol.

Just a few links for ya...

Thats all media imo. The media has to find a player to make money off of just like how they did with Geno Smith this year. It happens every single year.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
