Anyone ever stayed in a hostel before?

Apparently the bar at the hostel we're staying at is inexpensive (e.g. $5 for Jack and coke) but I'm more of a beer guy anyway, so we'll probably just make runs to the store or wherever.

Is it mainly the food that's expensive? We don't really plan to eat at any fine restaurants. I know how expensive it is in places like Destin so I'm expecting it to be probably a little more than that.

Your wasting your time if you're going to stay at a hostel making beer runs to convenience store. I spend a lot of time in Miami and the nightlife, foods, shopping, and hotel are what it's all about. That would be like coming to New Orleans and not trying any of the restaurants and instead eating fast food all the time.

Like guy a few posts ago said, Liv is really cool place, Nikii beach which is a restaurant/ lounge with a pretty upscale crowd, Mansion is awesome, but big money and not easy to get into on big nights, but that's where you will find famous people. Most of the places are rich upscale crowds, so you need to have some nice threads. My friend got a job As DJ a bunch of shifts a week for a whole month at SET and probably one of the places you might do best at. Mynt was the other place we would hang alot too, though very gay heavy on wrong night. Lots of gays and trannys, so look close for Adam apples before kissing.

They also have great Latin food restaurants in Miami also that you shouldn't miss, but then again, like I said earlier, if you're going to take a train to south beach and stay at a hostel making beer runs. All you can enjoy is the beach, and if you want a chance to score, you should just go to Daytona beach, or go a little further to the Keys. If you do go, please record when you ask a girl to come back to your hostel and will have to walk there.

Yeah Mansion bottle service was like $500 for 2/3 bottles on a Thursday night and that was for a bunch of dudes that look like me. I took some clients to BED and bottle service there was around the same. I saw MJ and Charles Oakley when I was there though.

I've been a couple times and it was never cheap.

This was all 4+ years ago but I dont think its any cheaper now.

$5 for a liquor drink is cheap dude. I lived down there for 5 years, you'll be fine. There is all kinds of poo down there. If you're that broke and hungry just stop at a Cuban stand and grab some croquettes and empanadas. There are thousands of bars and clubs between West Palm and Miami. Hard to go wrong down there.

    • Another layer to that is Ive seen Seattle has been in the market for CB help this off-season.   Michael had a higher PFF grade than Horn who got 15 games this season. He wants to be here too, that's a huge bonus for any 5 win team that had awful pass rush.  The 7th rounder Michael Barrett didn't last long on Seattle, he was cut before the season I think and ended up on browns PS. He's already been on 5.......5 teams within one year.......
    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
    • THANKS my guy! Keeping up with this threads theme, if I view a thread and there's only 20 posts and some time passes. If I see there's one new post and read the name; @Dave Gettleman's Shortsis among the chosen few that I will reopen that thread just to see what you posted.    Thanks again, plus not just a scout, thats scotty mccloughans son?!?!? If not for the deep claws of booze, scotty is among the best talent finders this league has recently had. Last I heard he ran a consulting business. Caden could be one of those who's on a early path to being a GM in the future. I was a big fan of his dad, dam shame about booze demon ruining his career.
