Use butterfly enclosures, about 4-5 should cover it and keep it cleaned and triple antibiotic ointment. Doesn't look deep enough for stitches, but it's on a highly movable part so that it helping keeping it open. It still will close up, but will leave nasty scar if you don't consciously bend that finger less and use something to help close it.

They do also make flexible band aids for fingers, but the buttterfly enclosures work better because they allow it to dry out and heal.

Gee, I guess all those years working summers at my dads (cardiologist) office and volunteering at the hospital did allow me to name such a basic item correctly. Sorry if your package said "closures" instead as different brands call them differently or was it you were just completely ignorant to what those first aid items actually were? Nevermind, I don't actually care about your reason..
