Secondary: The elephant in the room

Yeah..any other QB that would have been a lot of sacks. I don't blame the secondary at all. Good coverage most of the game. Almost all the yards were checkdowns or plays where Wilson extended them an ungodly amount of time. I don't think we will fall for the bootleg as much anymore.

I saw alot of missed tackles especially when trying to tackle Tate. We cannot let that continue.

The pass-rush will compliment the secondary they said. We don't need a secondary with this pass-rush they said.

Not to mention that Wilson extended the hell out of almost every drop back with his scrambling ability.

Yea, Wilson really played a helluva game.  As the saying goes, any receiver can get open when they have like 5 or 6 seconds.  Our pass rush was dominant, but Wilson able to scramble around back there like he was playing backyard football and still make good throws isn't something you'll see out of 28 or 29 other teams.  Against the vast majority of other teams, a pass rush like what we saw yesterday WILL mask a subpar secondary.  Just didn't work against Wilson.
