I am watching NFLN and they are hyping this team big time. I hope the Panthers do prove to themselves that they can do it by going on a serious winning streak. They have proven that they can go on a winning streak. They just do so when it doesn't matter. It's time to do it and make believers out of those in the media and some of you on this site.

 

Also, Jamie made a very legitimate point that keeps getting ignored, in regards to Cam and this team. The host asked about the chances of the Panthers going above .500 this Thursday and if the team could be finally taken seriously. He then asked a question about Cam. Jamie said that everyone keeps talking about putting weapons around the other young QBs to help the teams but when it comes to Cam everyone seems to just want to look at Smitty and that's it. He said had this team seriously build around Cam two years ago, they could have been in contention since then. I'm paraphrasing. But he's not saying anything new.

 

Some folks on this site are quick to use the winning records of other teams like the Colts, Seahawks, and 49ers, even the Bengals to make their argument that Cam cannot be seen as equal to those QBs because of the team's record. They say it as if to say that it has always been Cam and not the issues of team that has been holding the Panthers back. Hmmmm

      Carolina Way is gone, it went out the window with the Belichick hiring. They'll hire the best coach they can, ignoring everything else if possible.    Athletic reports that the school's top two targets are Tommy Lloyd and Billy Donovan. They don't care the buyout for a coach either, they and the boosters are willing to spend and will be going outside of the coaching family tree 100%.

      I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
