Sean May to get four work outs next week

Recommended Posts

Source: Rotoworld per Charlotte Observer

Sean May is scheduled to work out for four teams in Las Vegas next week -- the Trail Blazers, Kings, Cavaliers, and Clippers.

The Blazers might be looking at May as a fallback plan if Utah matches their offer sheet to Paul Millsap. The Bobcats also haven't ruled out signing him, though they declined to make him a $3.6 million qualifying offer.

Sean May worked out for the Bulls on Thursday, but canceled a workout with the Clippers, saying that he has a commitment from another team.

May has worked out for Portland, Sacramento, Cleveland and the Lakers as well, but could also still be re-signed by Charlotte. Regardless of where he lands, his chances of offering fantasy value are slim.

A tremendous talent. Maybe second on the team to Wallace (and now Henderson). Regardless of the way that his body is built, most of the blame for May's pitiful career has to be put on the man himself. I will never understand professional athletes with weight problems.

I bet he ends up back in Charlotte next year though. He can still ball on the offensive end, though that won't win him any favors with LB.

Free agent Sean May worked out for the Blazers and Kings recently, and says he's finally healthy again after his career in Charlotte was plagued by serious knee injuries and conditioning issues.

"Right now, I'm fighting for my career, to get my career back on track," he said. "I'm in the best shape of my life. I feel great, I move great, the workout went well and I shot the ball well." He's also expected to also work out for the Clippers and Cavaliers, and it would be surprising if someone doesn't take a chance on him. Just don't look for him to make a fantasy impact this season
