Numbers....Fitz's regular season numbers are better. Added bonus, Fitz owns the best single postseason numbers for any WR in NFL history.

How is 89 ahead?

idk about that as of lately fitz has been human since warner left, still a very good wr but he's is dealing with what smitty has had to deal will 09 until 11, how is smith not ahead? were posed to make a playoff run in smiths last couple years here, idk about fitz situation he might not be a cardinal next year and who knows what team he lands on......for both it will come down to the next 3 years IMO......if fitz gets on a team with a very good qb he'll most likely walk in the HOF.

Current Standings (Keep in my Fitzgerald is presently 4 years younger

TDs

Fitzgerald - 13th

Smith - 42nd

Yards -

Smith -20th

Fitzgerald - 29th

Rec -

Smith -25th

Fitzgerald - 26th

TD gap, age, and on top of that Fitzgerald owns the greatest statistical  postseason by a WR.  Fitzgerald is ahead of 89.

89 needs to pad his postseason at this stage to get in (regular season he won't get ahead of Fitz unless Fitz gets hurt)...Fitz's statistical pace is great.

Steve is so much more than the hot head the media sometimes makes him out to be. He's a rare leader at WR you can't say that about guys like T.O. or Chad Johnson that blew up locker room after locker room trying to get back the stats they had in their glory days.

I don't think Chad Johnson belongs in the same sentence as TO.  He wasn't a locker room cancer.....he just lost his skills.

yeah if you just look at the stats and not the impact a player made on the game, also Fitz is going to have more td's then smith easily.Age gap won't matter if Fitzgerald doesn't have a real qb to throw to him like i stated IMO it all depends on what happens in the next 3 years

Doesn't matter who throws the ball to Fitz....89 won't have a stastical edge on Fitz unless he creates one in the postseason going forward

    • You would hope so. I’m confused why the sports world seems split on Bryce when he’s obviously not working out.
    • So let’s do the reverse? Make everyone agree everything he does is a disaster? I also think the whole “gaslighting” is on the eye of the beholder. It went from he can’t avoid one single sack countered with he actually did that well Sunday (with data backing it) to a little breakdown of why he is so bad. People are going to have different opinions. I’m also not going to pretend this wasn’t happening Day one with this little QB.
    • All this great stuff he has done, how often does he do it?  I have it at three or four games out of 14 where he was very good and then you get a drive here or a series there where there are some good things. Here is the gaslight part: everyone has put him on a curve with his first year the baseline, neglecting to understand how bad he was then. Even if he comes back twice as good, where does that really leave him? 25th ranked or thereabouts.     He had so far to go, and still does, it is a Major ‘settle’ to accept his play as worthy of giving him our future.  You want to settle when the Bucs have Mayfield, and the Saints have overtaken us at QB? We will be third in the division at QB. That is good enough for y’all?
