What's crazy is I cant remember if it was Herm or somebody else expressed this on ESPN one day. Somebody said they want to see Cam and the offense down by 14, 21 make some type of comeback. Will we do it? We're looking incapable of doing it right now.

 

The explosiveness from our offense during Cam rookie season has seemed to regressed. Go back and just look at the scores in those games. I think its b/c Steve level of play has went down. We dont have that obvious 1,000 yard receiver anymore. You need that in today's NFL

This is just like the Arizona game, we do not have any playmakers on the offense other than Cam. Our first round pick needs to be a playmaker.

We need playmakers. Letting Shockey go and giving Chud the okay to go full retard was what killed us last year. Now we have Shula (fug), and our biggest playmaker Smith is really starting to show his age. We now have Ginn, being a solid three, and Lafell, but overall we have no one that can make plays beyond maybe Tolbert.

More than that, I'm really afraid that the 49ers and Patriots exposed offense. I know we won both those games, but we showed our weakness in defending the short game and the Saints have exploited it all night long.
