NFC South Championship Promo

If we win the NFCs, its not only possible we play in the NFC championship game but its highly likely, if we win the NFCs, guess who the Saints have to play in the wild card round.. Da Bears, in Chicago. Drew Brees in the windy city in Jan? Yea, good luck with that. Chances are we would face the Bears in Charlotte after they beat the Saints, Bears dont scare me. Alshon and Marshall will get theirs sure but the D is terrible and they have no run game.

If a miracle happens and the 9ers win in Seattle, we host the NFC championship game in Charlotte bitches!

Annndddd in that scenario we host a team we beat in their own house!

I know it would be tougher, but a part of me wants to face Seattle. I want us to show that A. we can beat them, and B. we beat the best teams on the road to the Superbowl.

Not that a win against the Niners that sends us to the big game wouldn't be sweet, but somehow just not quite as sweet.

Plus, how awesome would it be if we were the ones that broke that whole "Seattle doesn't lose at home" BS?

All season a part of me has been wanting us to play in Seattle just to see how we would do in that kind of enviroment just out of sheer curiosity. But hell, I will take the 9ers in Charlotte in the NFC championship game. NOW ofcourse the big unknown in all this is how we come out after a playoff bye, thats what concerns me.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
