What Cam was missing in the passing game was a guy that could stretch the field, and a guy that could consistently catch the ball, even make the tough catches.  Matthews and Moncrief can do those things.  Now after the June 1 cuts, perhaps we can snag what's leftover in the free agency market, yet Smitty and Olsen are veteran enough to help these guys out.

 

 

 

 

 

I definitely think if he has a good combine, his stock will sore.  For all intents and purposes, his stock right now is around 2nd-4th round, but at the moment I wouldn't take him that high.

 

Exactly. Cam is missing guys that can stretch the field. Matthews should help in the short yard passing game and Moncrief is a guy that can go deep. I just dont believe that as rookies, both guys can even come close to poor LaFail's production this season. It takes some times for these guys to really get it going. Also, you wouldnt want to put your money on two rookies in the Playoffs.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
