Riley Cooper would you want him

I've been called a cracker before. No, I did not respond with the n word, because I'm not a racist. Cracker carries virtually no weight with me, there's no history behind that word like there is for the other.

Again, it's baffling to me that so many people want to make excuses for this grown man's racist behavior.

It's baffling that you actually care this much. Grow up

Nope. He felt safe to be a racist around his white friends, he wouldn't have given what he did a second thought if he hadn't been caught on video.

Keep him away from this team.

We need a spokesperson for our new petition.  You can never be too sure JR isn't already friends with his white friends.  Our goal is to make sure the team knows they need to keep him away from this team..  Will you be our voice?

Yet this post is credible? Just how comparable is punching someone in the face to calling a black man the n word? Please, tell us.

So you think that being drunk and making a racial comment is worse than committing assault on someone...breaking their nose and actually committing a felony?

Not condoning what Cooper said. But, people do and say stupid things when they are poo faced drunk....or, in your case when they are completely sober.

Lol @ saying you don't condone his behavior but basically making an excuse for his behavior. I've been drunk plenty of times, and sh*t like that has never came out of my mouth. His true behavior came out, and had any other player not like Riley made a similar stupid move, people wouldn't have been so forgiving.

I am saying that we all have said and done stupid things when drunk.

If someone calls you cracker and means it in a racially charged and insulting manner....it is exactly the same as calling a black man a n***** and meaning it in a racially charged and insulting manner.

Words themselves have zero power.....it is the intent behind the word that makes it offensive.

Stop saying dumb poo....and I will stop calling you out for saying dumb poo.

Highly ironic statement from you sir.

No MadHatter, we have not all angrily hurled a racial slur in another persons direction when drunk. Just sounds like an excuse.

There's no way you actually believe this. That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on the huddle.
