Aaron Donald is special

I know we are already stacked at defensive tackle but who ever picks up this kid will have a stud. One of the quickest d-tackles I have seen in a while with strength and size to go along with his skill set.  If the G-man did decide to draft Donald I wouldnt lose any sleep over it, but its highly unlikely.

Havent seen much of the kid, but heard a lot of good stuffs.

I'm not sure about Donald, but I have thought about a "Louis Nix" pick up at no28. It's not going to happen, but I do believe that Nix will be a hell of a player. I would not mind at all to have a Star/Nix duo for years to come even tho KK played well.

A part of me is hoping we draft Easley to replace Dwan. Prior to him getting injured, he was a terror for OLs across the SEC.

WalterFootball has Easley going to Carolina in the 3rd round as a DE. I think Easley is more of a 43 DE than DT. He's coming off an ACL so he could possibly fall that far. Tho, seen mocks where he's gone higher. Dwan could potentially be a cap casualty this offseason.

I never thought about Easley being a DE that would be a nice addition for sure

Well, he's a bit of a tweener at 6'2 and 285lbs. Easley looks and is built a lot like a DE imo. Very similar to a Lamarr Houston type of body.

A lot of mocks that I've seen has him mocked to SF which make sense that he'd play DE in that 34 D. But, I believe that he'll have the ability to move all around the place in this 43 D; inside/outside.

I don't see why he couldn't play at around 275 or less and be a little more explosive if he's going to play DE.

Easley was probably the best DL besides Clowney that i seen this past season. has a lot of versatility because like some one has said, he is able to play many positions in many different fronts. BPA could very well be him,if he is in the 3rd, and i wouldnt be upset with the pick. he can stay at 285 and play DE in a 4-3. because he did have the quickness,1st step, and athletic ability to bend and play. would kick in to DT in passing situations.

I disagree with picking him up in 3rd round, due to depth in the draft we should be able to pick up a Starter on the Offensive side with that pick. We are pretty much stacked at the DL and his snaps and impact would be far less than a draft pick on the Offensive side. If we are going to beat Seattle or 49rs we have to beat their DEFENSE and that starts with improvement on the Offensive side of the ball.

OL, TE, WR & CB should be the top priority especially in the 1-4 rounds.

Then that goes ago against your philosophy of drafting bpa if he is graded out much higher than a need position.plus you want to keep your strength strong. Bringing him in also allows a Dwon Edwards becomes expendable. He also keeps the dl rotation really strong

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
