Don't Expect a Discount From Hakeem Nicks... He Just Signed with Roc Nation as His Representation

I dont really understand this logic.

Victor Cruz actually signed a modest contract.. Ended up settling for less than he thought he deserved, and probably less than he could have gotten elsewhere. He said he took a home town discount.. so signing with Roc Nation means nothing when it comes to discounts.

Every agent only cares about money... That is their main purpose.. If I was a player who only cared about money, I would go to the agent who has the best track record for getting players paid.

NY is a big market and him being a Latino football player in NY makes himself more marketable alone within the Hispanic community there, I'm sure he's getting hell of endorsements and money else wheres

He only gets big money from a team desperate to sign him.  There are going to a bunch of players that will be upset when they find out that this year will be worse than last year.  There will be a ton of guys hitting free agency.  He is not that great or worth that much money at this point.  If you had to chose between Hardy or Nicks only a UNC homer or a fool would go for NIcks.

i think the choice between Hardy and Nicks would depend on what you could get each for.if Hardy prices himself out of Charlotte and we could sign Nicks reasonably it would be foolish not to.Having said that straight up I would want to maintain the defense way before letting him go and adding Nicks. I am a homer for sure but I am a Panther homer also and want us to have the best chance to win and between the 2 Hardy would give us the better chance to  games.
