Place was rocking every night. I remember opening night tuxes an all. Parents too me to almost every game as a kid. I remember being 15 to get the free giveaways. They accused me of being too old an that hurt my feelings bad. Still have some of the shooting shirts ect they gave to us kids.

I remember going to the games as a kid, standing next to a height chart of mugsy bouges and Alonzo morning. I was an inch taller than mugsy in 5th grade for some reason that made me beam with excitement before that game.

Also I won pair of tickets that same night when they had those blimps that would fly over dripping tickets at half time.

So many good times going to those games as a kid. Now I want to dig out photos of me next to those player height charts.

Just one for the memories from a game.

I trolled the heck out of the Phoenix Sun's MVP year Charles Barkley. It was a TNT game and I was shot bombing the postgame interview with Doug Collins and they had to send a big dude with a black shirt in front of me.

He got up all tired and broken down and I screamed "we let you win old man!" he keeps walking away and Desperate for attention told him he had a nice ass in white shorts.. He turns around slowly and starts to chuckle... And walks slowly to the lockers. Made my night!

In the 25-30+ Hornet games I went to.. I did not see anyone play as hard as Barkley did other than Mugsey. This list includes Karl Malone/who had his career low gm the game i went to, Shaq, Webber, Garnett, Jordan, Pippen(prob bc both CHi games I saw were blow outs by QTR3.

Also Id have to say that The Glen Rice, Vlade Divac, Anthony Mason Trio was some beautiful basketball. They do not get enough credit to how good they were.

Glen Rice had the most effortless three point shot I have ever seen and was always explosive on that backdoor cut where Vlade would lob pass him for a dunk.

    • Watching Williams last night, guy has an arm and nfl ability  i see no future with Young.  either a player has nfl ability or they dont  cant survive on 20 or less points a game
    • Fowler: Bucs 23, Panthers 16. Baker Mayfield only won a single game when he was an unimpressive Carolina starter, but somehow he’s 5-0 when playing AGAINST the Panthers. For the Panthers to pull off this upset, they’ll need to score at least in the mid-20s. With Tampa Bay relatively healthy following a mini-bye (and Mike Evans’ return is huge), it feels like this will be too tough a task. Kaye: Bucs 24, Panthers 20. The win-loss-win-loss streak comes to an end. It’s hard to trust the play-calling following the loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers know what’s on the line, but they also knew last week, too. It’ll be close; I just have trouble trusting a positive outcome after a defeating one on the road. Zietlow: Panthers 38, Bucs 35. This prediction goes against conventional wisdom, but then again, conventional wisdom doesn’t seem to apply to these Panthers. This group, after all, has yet to lose back-to-back contests since Weeks 1 and 2. I think they win this one to make Week 18 interesting — and yes, that’s even with motivated Baker Mayfield and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in good form. Why not?
    • Sam developed into a different player after he mostly sat for a year and learned a ton by being in that QB room under Shannahan in San Francisco.  Then he went to the Vikings who have a poo load of talent and another genius level offensive mind at HC in Kevin O Connel. I think they genuinely built up his confidence in a way he never did in New York or Charlotte.  He would not have been the same player if he stayed here IMO. Especially if he had been involved in that disaster season with Frank Reich in 2023, that might have cooked his confidence for good.  I guess you could argue we wouldn't have been that bad if we also kept cmc and dj i guess.
