Canes Prospect Sergey Tolchinsky With A Gerbe-Esque Goal

Recommended Posts

Hurricanes prospect Sergey Tolchinsky of the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds scored a ridiculous Nathan Gerbe-esque goal in an OHL game yesterday. Tolchinsky seems to combine Jeff Skinner's 10-2 skate move with Gerbe's between the legs shot to get the puck by the goaltender in what has to be one of the goals of the year at any level.

At 5'9/165 lbs, Tolchinsky is one of the smallest players in the OHL, but he makes up for it with skill and heart. Tolchinsky currently has 27 goals, 54 assists, and 81 points in 63 games payed for the Greyhounds. Tolchinsky was signed by the Canes in the offseason as an undrafted free-agent.

Enjoy!!!
