Nicks 1 yr $4 million....Travelle 2yr $8 million.....Capt 3 yr $12

Most FAs are anticipated to go in the $4-8 million range. The best DEs are in the $8-9 million range. Hardy is better than the other DEs, but not 50% more. I can't see us paying more than $11 million/ yr, which would be less that CJ. Hopefully, he is open to what his REAL market value is not intent at getting CJ money.

I think we'll sign Hardy to a longterm deal averaging about $9-11 million/year but with a cap hit of like $5-6 million this year. Would open up a lot of options for FA, especially if Godfrey gets cut (which he should) and Smitty gets cut (I absolutely hate this decision if it's true, and complete disagree with it, but we still would need to look at the positive aspects of the team). Then we could sign Nicks and maybe even a legit tackle or corner and address other positions via the draft. The outlook ain't too bad.

      Well he quickly deflected the question about Rico's "almost 7 YPC." He is very polished and he transitioned well to non-answers and side steps. I can see why a guy like him was able to pull the wool over on guys like Tepper.

      31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.

      In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.  If ww lock in to Bryce, it'd be no different  than the 49ers locking into Purdy. Can't do it!
