I walked past Luke uptown today on my way to lunch. I think i could take him.

I'd pay a few dollars to watch you try.

zod, since you know beason better than anyone here...you think that beason would restructure?

i think that's about the only way we keep him around.

he's a very valuable commodity and huge in the leadership department. he makes for incredible depth at Mike if needed and could provide for one incredible rotation among the LB corps. i think statistically he's played better on the outside than on the inside and i remember some saying he was better suited for it. i'm not sure about that, but i think it would be a shame to let him or any of the other LBs go.

He is a very bright guy and a realist. I think he realizes his worth in the league has dropped after the injuries and he has to earn it over again. I do think he would restructure.

yeah, that would be a tough pill to swallow. the market just wouldn't be good for him elsewhere because of the last couple years. the demand just wouldn't be there to warrant a contract anywhere close to what he has.

i hope you're right and that he does. i just hope that the new GM sees value to the team in keeping him around.

He's played one more game than Kuechly. Kuechly's averaging 13 tackles a game since he took over at MLB (52 tackles over 4 games). If you add that to Kuechly's total to get an "apples-to-apples" comparison, Kuechly would have 90 tackles to Greenway's 94.

The only Vikings game I watched this year was the Thursday night against the bucs and alot of greenways tackles were far down the field

How long has Greenway been in the league? He's developed into that type of player. Keek is the face of defensive stars for years to come... He's this good as a rookie and his instincts are what separates him.

another stat. we have the worst punter in football. On top of that, I think there's a lot of punter roiding up that leg as there's like 4 that have over a 50 average which is INSANE

Another stat: Kuechly is on pace to reach 185 tackles at the end of the season, from since he started at MIKE. Cmon I been waiting for this thread. Gotta put more thought to it. lol
