Evero is a lot like fox. He keeps hi best CB on the strong side of the offensive alignment. The defense is setup for Jackson to play the weak side and Scott to play deep. Defensive coordinators can be a rigid bunch.
-
If a dynamic tight end like Sadiq is there, take him; otherwise we’re fine at TE. The real needs are edge rusher and linebacker, we have to improve the pass rush and the LB play is mediocre. Prioritize adding speed at the skill positions and building depth at defensive tackle, cornerback, and along the offensive line.

They will tell them how many throws in a row they have missed right before they sit them out lol

I think they are hoping. Mainly because they have put themselves in a position to where they are kinda stuck. They've waited a year or 2 too late to hedge their bet. Now they are left with hoping the massive investment the made eventually nets them a decent qb. I am still amazed that these professionals haven't seen the need for a plan B in the qb room.
-
I mean, sure. But to an extent.....the bad play and stats will sort of jive up often. I do think players and coaches are aware of the stats. I'm sure a QB at some point has heard his coach throw his awful stats in his face in anger lol.

Richardson liked to reward players for past performance, even if they were fading. Smart teams pat for what they're going to do, not what they already did.
-
We'll be seeing them, playoffs or not, in about two and a half weeks. Not to mention John Fox's dumbass refusal to adjust his scheme and put Chris Gamble on Larry Fitzgerald.
-
He was doing it last season. Its an ongoing issue that he either doesn't recognize and his staff is too timid to tell him. Or he simply DGAF.
-
I decided to take the suspension instead.
-
That's fixable, though. He is still in just his second year.
-
How much? (and what was the infraction?)
-
They use it to evaluate salaries and game strategies. I don't think they use it to determine who starts.
-
He gets too caught up in his script and doesn't notice what's really going on in the game.
-
well, I think NFL teams do use stats these days. Analytics just too big of a thing. Now, I don't think they give a rip about ESPN's QBR. but do think a good team knows what there QBs completion % is going to this area of the field vs that coverage? Yes.
-
I wouldn't necessarily say they're "all in" but I do think they're "in" (now I'm gonna sit back and watch to see who takes that line and makes it sound icky)
-
That, or call the right kind of plays to attack what the Saints throw at us. He majorly failed to do that last time.

Now that im retired i fined myself being seduced by the midday catnip. They creep up on you if your not paying attention.

The Panthers haven’t given up on Brooks, but they understand the risk of reinjury following two ACL surgeries. I can’t see them going into next season with Brooks and Etienne as Hubbard’s primary backups. The Panthers don’t want to be in the business of letting good players leave. Whether they’re able to re-sign Dowdle will depend on his market and how much they want to invest in the position. It would be pretty stupid to give him a multi year deal IMO

I wonder how long the JT Sanders experiment will go. I know he went in the 4th for a reason, but at the time, I thought he was one of those classic prospects that fell and was a steal on day 3. I’m not out on him, but he has flashed less this year than last and there are games where he seems non-existent. Evans looks like the most promising long-term answer. Tremble will be here until his contract runs out. Sanders could be the new Ian Thomas, though the former has shown more flashes/promise than the latter. Maybe Canales enjoys TE by committee though….i feel like that was the deal in TB and SEA.
