  1. Past hour
  2. XL is showing he just isn't an NFL WR. If they are smart, they attempt to move him this offseason.
  3. Bryce was fine sunday. Not good, not bad, but our defense was awful. Everything is understated because of how LONG drives were that game. The panthers had long time killing drives and the saints had long time killing drives. For reference, I looked it up, average NFL game has about 22-24, meaning each team gets 10-12 drives, for reference though, the panthers had 8 total, and one of those drives came with us having 2 seconds left in the game. The biggest killer was the saints just getting possession after possession that just seemed to last for fuging EVER. they killed us on TOP then made just a few plays at the end. Credit where its due, thats how we beat the Packers and to a lesser extent the Rams. Limit their possessions by just slugging it out and getting a TOP advantage. Its how lesser teams beat better teams and we fell for our own trap.
  4. I don't think any premium pass rushers will be available when we pick in the 10-16 range. It is a very good spot to land an elite LB or potentially a great TE. Unless a truly elite TR drops to us, I wouldn't reach for that position. This isn't a very strong class and last year was the year to make that move. It's strange how many mocks I see with us taking a WR or CB.
  5. There was a quick hook last year then they let him come crawling back. Then this year when Bryce missed a game we all saw that Dalton was behind washed. This is why I just want Bryce gone. We need to wash our hands of him.
  6. Such a dumb pick and most of us knew it Ladd would’ve been the perfect match with Bryce But instead they draft XL to fill the void at the X spot because we had a 34 year old Adam Thielen. Then a year later we draft a real X WR and move XL inside where he has absolutely no business being for a list of reasons
  7. My logic was hopefully a new HC would have a LOT quicker hook for Bryce. But, that is assuming they would even be allowed. I guess that's a call to the owner's box for permission.
  8. I’m not overly defending the pick. I was team Stroud by a country mile but I also knew what to expect as far as ceiling goes with Bryce I had concerns with Bryce’s arm strength and size. Neither seem to overly be an issue. He’s proven to throw with enough anticipation that he makes up for a lack of velocity. I was worried about the way he played in college not translating to the league. Spending 8 seconds behind LOS. I did also think it would take Young a few years for him to reach his full potential. I also think he’s too smart and accurate to flat out bust which all of seems to be pretty accurate Bryce is someone you can absolutely win with. No one thought he’d be the type to carry a well below average supporting cast to a Super Bowl. He’s fully capable of giving you those 4-5 special plays a game that help your team win. And then you have those rare times where he’s the reason you win like in Atlanta. All good teams have more than just a QB. Even the teams that are winning this year all have a lot more than what we have. Supporting cast/defense… more than what we have As far as Morgan goes I 100% agree. Fwiw he was legit team Bryce during the draft process. I know that for a fact. Last years draft is a complete write off. This past draft still up for debate. TMac and Scourton look solid. I can’t remember the last time I saw Princely win a rep and I’m being honest. Ransom has a little value. I think ETN is a nice insurance add. Evans could be a TE2. I think this offseason Morgan will get aggressive with trying to land a pass rusher. Whether that’s a trade for Crosby, signing Hendrickson, it’s going to be top priority. We need a ILB. I really like Kaden Ellis. Sonny Styles should be in our draft range. We also need a tight end and it would be interesting to see this offseason with Kenyon Sadiq
  9. If I'm picking between sticking with Canales with a new QB or Bryce with a new coach, I'm definitely picking Canales with a new QB simply because we've tried the Bryce with new coach route before. Been there done that.
  10. I wouldn't deny it would be a bad look. But I do think he has conclusively shown he is a not a good head coach.
  11. I had someone argue with me the other day that his career had been similar through three seasons of starting. I mean....define "similar." It definitely hasn't been statistically nor results.
  12. It would be bad to fire Canales after the team has improved from absolute trash to winning some games. Especially given our recent history of hirings and firings. I think its smart to give him another year, even if you're not sold on him. Bryce is the next guy who's gotta go.
  13. On the season his stat line versus NO is: 8 completions on 12 targets, 157 yds, 3 TD's, 0 INT's, 2 Passes Deflected Half of his total TD's allowed has been to the Saints. The Saints have absolutely dominated him.
  14. If people can't see how bad he is now, I am just not really sure what else it is going to take.
  15. Loving the historical revisionism about a first overall player we spent multiple first round picks on ”actually he was always going to be late career Jeff Garcia”
  16. Bryce young isn’t the worst qb in the league because Nathan Peterman hasn’t filed retirement papers. Check mate, haters
  17. If you’re talking about the Kenny Pickett and JJ Mccartheys of the world then what point are you even trying to make
  18. He is actually tied for the 2nd most targeted player on the Panthers this season at 58(or 4.5 Targets/GM). He is behind Mike Jackson's 82 targets(5.9/GM). They both do pretty well with QB Rating. Jackson allowing a 77.7 and Horn a 70.9. Hilariously, Rosebum is tied with 58 targets. Opposing teams know. Lol. Back to the cluster of missed tackles, there appears to be none. He has missed 2 tackles in a game twice this season and has recorded missed tackles in 9 of 13 games.
  19. Short list means there is a list. That means he isn't the worst. Not even in your eyes.
  20. On what basis? How many teams are trading their starting QB for ours? Not talking about backups forced into starting roles, I'm talking about guys who went into the season as planned starters? How many of those guys are getting traded for Bryce Young if the offer was on the table? It's a really short list.
  21. Let me see if they are in a group or spread out.
  22. Yeah, I never said he wasn't. Though I don't necessarily agree with that. My only point was that sack wasn't on him. It was on the LT. You can argue alot about things he doesn't do well, but he definitely avoided 4-5 sacks in that game alone.
  23. Yeah, I think people are missing on that part when they are saying "no big deal." Remember how often Donte Jackson got called out for this? Well....he has a lower missed tackle percentage over the past two seasons than Jaycee Horn does. Make no mistake, this is not good.
