  1. Past hour
  2. So your saying hes a locker room cancer if hes not a starter and all them teams gave determined that hes not a starter
  3. My concern with Howell and his career is that he may not have a backup's mentality. I think Bryce will be fine holding a clipboard and that mentality will suit him well and might lead to him sticking around a long time on the league. Backup QB is a pretty sweet gig but it takes a different mentality. And yeah, we'd be better off with Howell than Bryce.
  4. He doesn’t have any cartilage left in his body so every bone bruise actually effects two bones. also it’s the dolphins. Lots of players are gonna get an extra bye for the rest of the year.
  5. Shame another thread derailed by irrelevant Bryce posts, he's not even playing this week
  6. A bone bruise keeping him from playing? I thought only Panthers do this kind of thing
  7. Do you have data on the sacks in the redzone? I know that Bryce's sack% has gone down each year(10.53, 7.02, 4.68). Dalton to compare: 4.92, 4.19, 7.14
  8. Some people just cant let go of thier takes like Howell being an upgrade after being passed around from franchise to franchise
  9. It was 3rd and 4 after XL laid out and couldn’t pull in Bryce’s pass, which was overthrown. Bryce could have sucked it up but I guess that’s too much to ask from Mr. Big Time Throws (mBTT)
  10. Yes, establish the run and give Dalton a clean pocket to hit a few good play action passes. Defense will stop the run but we can’t afford to get picked apart like against the Cowboys
  11. Bryce has been really good at avoiding sacks and in the redzone this season. I think Andy is like Flacco, he’s plays with no conscious he will more than likely throw 50/50 balls, if we can protect Andy and the running game gets going I think we can win this one. But if Andy from the Commanders game shows up we are gonna get blown out.
  12. And actually control the ball. The path to success seems fairly clear. Heavy dose of Rico early and often. If that is cooking, pass action passing off of that.
  13. Two of the “game winning drives” involved Bryce not throwing a pass.
  14. Most elite QBs are at about 50% on game winning drives opportunities and they’re usually on stacked teams. Bryce has done pretty well and not even counting games like Eagles and Bucs last year where we lost due to Chuba fumble and XL dropped TD.
  15. He’s had 11 opportunities that he’s failed to convert, and usually embarrassingly, the cardinals game just being the most recent example.
  16. I agree I would pick us to lose regardless of QB situation. However if our defense can magically find a consistent pass rush to keep Allen from picking us apart we may have a chance.
  17. Never realized the Huddle loved Greg Cossell so much but when Schlereth or Olsen praise Bryce they’re just being fake
  18. Oh but if he won the game than game winning drives would still be a fake stat lol
  19. Look, I am not a Bryce hater but we gotta be realistic at this point. He ain't it.
  20. some of you are projecting your insecurities. I haven’t seen anyone wishing Dalton to fail yet many do want Bryce to fail so he gets benched or traded. I sincerely hope Dalton plays great and has enough left for a game or two like this because we need him. I will never root for my team to lose or any Panther player to fail. Same can’t be said about many Bryce haters. cheers
  21. Bryce has played a big role often in our losses. He can lose a game in the first quarter.
  22. I have no idea how anyone could watch Bryce play and come to an honest conclusion that he would "make more throws than" basically *insert name of another QB on an NFL roster*.
  23. Nah, he wasn’t playing. And that’s answered by Cam after the incident as he walked off trying to reign it all back in
