  1. Past hour
  2. Wouldn't get to that it would be head to head for all three teams first. We'd be 3-1 Bucs would be 2-2 Falcons would be 1-3
  3. Canales is at his best coaching when he has a full week to prepare and dig into why he lost the game. That's when he really excels, in hindsight. For sure he doesn't when it comes to pre-game planning/preparation and in game management. He's REAL bad at that. But, man, he really is great at seeing his constant mistakes after he has made them.
  4. I just don't think there's any great teams this year. Seems like every team that makes the field this year has a shot outside of the NFC South and AFC North champs. Those are just weak ass divisions.
  5. Or calling that play on the stringer run blocking side. Lewis and ickey neither corbett or moton are what they used to be. Particularly later in games
  6. No, I genuinely don't think they are good teams. I think they are extremely well coached teams but New England has an atrocious roster and a top 5 easiest schedule in NFL history. The Bills are having to get into shootout wins with .500 or lower teams. They are going to very much struggle with that poor of a defense and few weapons outside of Josh Allen. This isn't the 2015 Panthers with Cam toting around a bunch of bums and dominating. It's scratching out hard fought wins against the who's who of who dat. When they finally hit the playoffs, I think it's gonna be a different story. For both of those teams.
  7. My god, he sounds dumber and dumber with each passing week. If this is truly something he believes (that a lightweight QB can't get 3 inches on a 4th down sneak), then why the hell haven't you signed a QB that we can bring in to sneak the ball in these situations... Or you know... If you aren't going to sneak it on 4th and very short, how about not calling a dive play up the middle when you know NO is going to blitz everybody possible up the middle
  8. Thats if its between 2 teams, little further down in the 3 or more section it says head to head amongst the teams, if still tied go to the next one, if 2 teams remain tied then redo the steps as a 2 way tie, but we wouldnt get to that because in head to head Panthers vs Bucs vs Falcons itd be Panthers 3-1 Bucs 2-2 Falcons 1-3 Thus there wouldnt go to common opponents between panthers and bucs.
  9. But then we can't potentially "trick" them with God-tier QB Bryce Young and have him throw a pass.
  10. Oh, they're good teams. You're just jaded by the Pats/Chiefs dynasties of recent years. There's no dominant teams this year on the NFL but the Pats and Bills are legit SB contenders in this year's league.
  11. Oh yeah, not disputing that. I suspect our next head coach will be our worst yet.
  12. I think we just play to the opponent. Even in two of the blowouts(which, neither are very good teams, admittedly) Buffalo and New England, those games were fairly close to being competitive, minus a lot of coaching/execution blunders. Oddly, Jacksonville was the only game it just felt like we were never really in it. It's progress to an extent.
  13. I am thoroughly perplexed by 7. How in the world can you look at the Saints situation and the Tampa situation and think the Saints are better off????
  14. Luckily this team is so predictable at being unpredictable, I've made quite a bit of cash off them winning and losing this year.
  15. Yep, we've found ways to win a lot of games we should've lost and had the good fortune of playing two playoff teams in offensive limiting bad weather conditions. The only difference between us and the Giants is that they've lost most of their one possession games and we've won most of ours.
  16. I know. 100% pretty pissed when i read this no excuse. None dalton is drawing millions to be nothing nur a baby sitter. Put him out There
  17. The #3 Tiebreaker is common opponents. https://www.nfl.com/standings/tie-breaking-procedures
  18. He might not be but in the coaching search we basically have equivalency of finding a QB but we have no picks in the first five rounds and we're over the salary cap so we'd basically be looking at late round flier type picks and vet minimum type roster castoffs.
  19. I dunno, I think he might be right because Im putting it into the playoff machine and it has us win. From my search its head to head amongst the 3 teams, Atlanta would be 1-3, Tampa would be 2-2, and we would be 3-1 in the 4 games amongst the 3 teams giving us the tiebreaker. Its just not gonna happen, but its the dumbest scenario possible lol.
  20. I actually think that like Bryce, Canales isn’t in the top 25 NFL of his profession either.
  21. Yeah, don't mistake my defense of Canales as true defense of Canales. More just an acknowledgement of our situation as an organization and the lack of appeal to other potential candidates. Kinda like that Bryce conversation. It's about expectations. Canales basically is that mid-round pick likely backup caliber guy... who would be replaced by an equal caliber canididate. Based on that, I think it's unlikely we'd get an improvement and the carousel would continue.
  22. poo, most of our WR's would be getting absolutely annihilated too.
