  1. Past hour
  2. I hope the Panthers are making note of this. The good version of Tua was always the rosiest picture of what Bryce might be able to be in the NFL. Tua reached a much higher ceiling in the NFL than Bryce has been able to achieve thus far but he's a poster child for the risks of hitching your salary cap wagon to a seriously physically limited QB.
  3. He could be a threat for maybe a couple of games, and not necessarily in consecutive order. These days I think he's more of a threat to himself and his career
  4. I doubt it. I mean, the Chargers probably kept track of those types of stats at the time but I don't even know if they'd still have them at this point. There's just way more metrics being tracked these days than there were 20+ years ago. At least in terms of public availability. I'm sure all kinds of metrics were being tracked in the past but they just weren't publicly available.
  5. Or when we're playing the Saints I don't believe he's had a bad season overall but the Saints (and especially Olavé) have kinda roughed him up.
  6. I use it just to describe the PA/deep up/fade/corner and post... those were pretty non existent in the original spread, coryell is the run and shoot type stuff now a days i think. I think modern wise all offenses have a form of coryell now though as well as elements of the spread/west coast.
  7. Diontae Johnson DJ Chark Jonathon Mingo Adam Thielen Bryce got the absolute most out of these guys.
  8. He was a threat. He looked amazing in limited play time, tho I did not get to see the bengals game because of Helene. he just had mental health problems and now he’s out of the league.
  9. Legette and Mingo's issues can't rightly be laid at Bryce's feet.
  10. I think hes been fantastic with the pass rush hes been paired with.... if we had even a league average pass rush he doesnt give up a lot of the plays he has.
  11. I'm talking more Walsh style WCO than Coryell. I know they used to refer to Air Coryell with similar terminology but after Walsh blew up, I stopped hearing that term used outside of Walsh / Shanahan/ Holmgren and company.
  12. A lot of Horns come in just 2-3 games the rest of the time the ball doesnt go his way much I will say i dont think many of his misses are in run support.... I feel its usually when hes shocked they threw it his way or missed a play on the ball
  13. hmmmm what postion is 100% dependant on the QB to have meaningful impact...... ill wait
  14. Uh huh Let's just say in some of our prior conversations, what "we" know of Tepper hasn't exactly panned out on any consistent basis.
  15. This has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve read on this board in awhile so congrats on that So investing a 1st round pick and 2nd rounder into Legette and Mingo even though they suck somehow counts against Bryce. Yep that makes sense lol at Diontae Johnson being a “threat”. He failed on like 6 teams in 2024. Gee I wonder why
  16. PSA: In the interest of clarity, the above reference is not meant as a direct comparison between Christian Rozeboom and Junior Seau. ... (I'd like for that to go without saying but my experience with these sorts of conversations, including today specifically, suggests that a disclaimer is warranted)
  17. Tepper is not and should not let dan and dave roll the dice on another qb for their 4rth year especially after Dan was involved with bryce and if the 5th is picked up before may. Tepper will simply be like "why didnt you upgrade in the off season if this was an issue......bye"
  18. I wonder if there's an official tab on how many Junior Seau used to miss. That was one of the bigger knocks on him back in the day.
  19. And hes was trying to be slick glossing over the guys who had success. Tbh Diontae Johnson was the perfect WR for brycey if he hadn't been a headcase he turned a ton of bryces 2 yarders into 1sts.
  20. I mean, you can get away with a "straight line" style linebacker under some circumstances. I don't think we use him under those particular circumstances though, so...
  21. Indeed, and thats the thing he exells at the hybrid west coast spread/ air coryell PA shots that Canalles likes to take.
  22. its the same poo over and over and over
  23. I like how AT is now being treated like XL in order to defend Bryce Young lol.
  24. Invested since 2023 to try and make brycey successful..... 2 first round WRs including a top ten pick 1 2nd round WR 2 highest at signing paid offensive guards 67% OF THE TEAMS TOTAL SALARY CAP INVESTED ON OFFENSE. Completly disregarding Theilin who was 32 at the time of signing and produced well for us because hes fallen of a cliff at age 36 is ridiculous. Same goes for Dionte Johnson he was a threat when he played.
  25. Saying the right things in front of the camera at a holiday event for kids....doesn't mean poo lol We have 2 pro sports teams and his business dealings to actually judge Tepper off of. Nothing says he is going to let a losing coaching (with no history of doing anything) start from scratch at year 4. And again, that extends way beyond Tepper to other teams at that point. Coaches don't get that sort of time in today's world. you just want to argue things at this stage because none of that is rooted in what we know if Tepper.
  26. A big part of my interest in Howell is skill set. He's best suited for the kind of WCO style attack we use. I don't think the team would give him a shot to start barring injury, but you can never say what'll happen. (had Drew Bledsow stayed healthy, Tom Brady might be back in Michigan coaching high school football)
