  1. I'm not the biggest Horn fan at all but he's playing with UFL rejects.
  2. Wait til you have to talk yourselves into Carson Beck at No. 1 overall. Cam Ward's already dodged a bullet and the gun hasn't even fired.
  3. I have a feeling Miami is going to find a way to lose to Florida State and the fraud allegations that heretofore haven't really left, will be in full force. But I hope it doesn't happen.
  4. Fair enough. There are bigger fish to fry (and I don't eat fish).
  5. Last thing I'll mention: the 2023 NFL Draft should be removed from even being typed on this forum, because it was the crescendo of awful decisions that set this franchise back and it's probably regarded by many as one of the worst times in this team's history. College football, on the other hand, makes you think of cheerleaders, tailgates, chants, rivalry games and hard liquor.
  6. For instance, you could even call it "College Football/NFL Draft" and I'd start posting rivalry game threads, team threads, etc. No one's stopping me from doing it now, yes, but it seems stupid to post that in the 2023 NFL Draft subforum.
  7. It'd just make a lot of sense to call it College Football. I imagine it would naturally get more traffic, not much more but perhaps a bit, if it were called that as opposed to a draft from two years ago. But it's not up to me.
  8. Whoever does would be cool if they could adjust the URL and category name to College Football.
  9. He's saying they'd be trade targets, not that they're on the block yet.
  10. Wake lost to UL-Lafayette. I'm not even sure if that's an upset.
  11. I understand your frustration and your negativity, because there's every chance both could finish with 5-6 wins. However, if UNC overcame a 20-0 deficit to win 21-20, I believe some of your opinions might be a bit different.
  12. I have no expectations. I'm just glad to not be mathematically eliminated. Hell, 1-2 feels great.
  13. Nah, it's a huge win. This Duke team has less talent than the previous two that lost to UNC. A rivalry win is a big deal when it hasn't happened in six years, and when you overcame a 20-0 deficit to make it happen. Not saying Duke's more than a lower-level bowl team, but starting 5-0 and winning your rivalry game is an accomplishment. I left a party with them down 20-7 thinking, "well, at least they didn't get shut out," and my FIL hit me up with, "well, UNC blew it," and I thought he was kidding.
  14. Duke beating UNC was not on my bingo card today, and it definitely wasn't after they fell behind 20-0 in the second half. But that's a huge win for Duke's program and it justifies the effort they've made to become competitive. Alabama winning? Yawn. I would've preferred Georgia to win, but I'm not shocked. Miami dodged a Blacksburg-sized bullet last night, though.
  15. "Just because you won big doesn't mean you didn't still lose, because I want you to lose and I'm going to pretend you lost again." That was basically the point there; like Ryan, more confirmation bias.
  16. So if you lose big you're losing, but if you win big you're losing? Air-tight logic.
  17. This weekend. but if Dalton has five more wins in him this season he deserves a parade.
  18. I'm beginning to think David Tepper's not a good guy. But I'll need more evidence than just this.
  19. Hubbard is a top-15 RB. With how that position is devalued, there's every reason to believe he'll re-sign here. No sense in shipping off another above-average offensive skill player for peanuts.
  20. The only analysts who think Young is still a starting-caliber QB are the ones who haven't seen him play this year. Now if you'd been cryogenically frozen after the Packers game last Christmas Eve and were only recently thawed, yeah, I could see you having an argument. But now? Nope.
