  1. Because Philly credited him for the schematic and game planning of that offense. you can actually go the 1st 2 seasons in Indy as well.
  2. Honestly haven’t looked to much into him. Sounds like a decent candidate. Talked with a Jets guy about the other person we interviewed. They didn’t seem all that thrilled with him. Almost like a Al Holcomb or downgrade.
  3. This was 3hours prior to Person saying it was unlikely. I know some people who cover the Dolphins who feel confident.
  4. What are you even talking about it’s pretty cut and dry that the Offensive coach was the reason and not a excuse it was going to be 8 out of 10 (80%) of the interviews were offensive guys. If you can’t clearly see that. Your just have your emotional glasses on. Reich did earn his job by coaching Being a Super Bowl winning Coordinator which Wilks never did by having more back2back winning seasons than our entire franchise has had as a Head Coach and yes, it’s bad to use the Arizona as a example with Wilks. But the reality of the situation. Irsay up in Indy with Reich was the same situation for a majority of his time. And Reich’s worst season he had 7 wins (over double what Wilks had in Arizona) again, this isn’t a bashing Wilks. He did a tremendous job, and deserves a HC. but Not only does Reich’s overal resume better. But he checks the offensive box as well. I truly feel for Wilks because he had a amazing season. But that doesn’t mean I don’t think Reich is deserving for this job as well. In fact, you need to go listen to Torrey Smith. who has been one of the more vocal supporters of Wilks outside of guys who played for him him. He has also been one of the more vocal former NFL players about African American’s unfairly being left out from jobs etc. But he was very Supportive of Reich and spoke very high on him talking how lucky we are to have him as our Head Coach.
  5. Also @ellis has been doing the kings work on Twitter as well in the wee hours of this morning going through some clips
  6. I do hate it for Wilks. But this is a little ridiculous. Reich was also fired from a dysfunctional organization as well. Was 3-3-1 before the literal owner told him he had to play Sam Elinger (essential like Tepper coming down and telling Wilks he will start Mayfield or Pj Walker). Lost 2 games, was fired. The owner hired his buddy with no coaching experience off the TV set at ESPN. Then they immediately went back to the original starter where Saturday (who now that team is actually probably going to hire full time) went 1-7. it sucks for Wilks. It sucks for Wilks, but it was clearly obvious what Tepper wanted and had nothing to do with skin color. When Wilks was 1 of only 2 defensive guys they interviewed out of 9 (would’ve been 10 if Ben Johnson didn’t back out) id actual be a little angrier if they took some unproven coordinator over him. so I feel for Wilks, while I understand the actual reality of the situation and excited for Reich (who will be the first offensive HC we’ve had in this franchise history and goes with the new trend of the NFL as you can see 4 of 4 teams playing this weekend in the conference championships are offensive HC’s) I hope Wilks lands on his feet somewhere and gets another shot. And hopefully it’s in the AFC
  7. Here is a list of the colts Free Agents this offseason who Reich coached in Indy https://www.colts.com/news/2023-free-agents-agency-yannick-ngakoue-parris-campbell-bobby-okereke
  8. Measured just over 5’9 down here at the shrine bowl yesterday and 180 pounds
  9. That guy just post stuff. if you looks a little further on his timeline. According to his sources this past spring we were signing the honey Badger. I’ll wait until someone else reports it.
  10. Rapaport said today in the McAfee show today the he learned within the last 24 hours that he was the most sought after Candidate this year by teams Not Sean Payton. Mentioned Arizona was pushing hard to get him in for a 2nd interview
  11. Jake Query who covers the colts was just on WFNZ to talk about Reich. - Indy fans happy to see him get another opportunity in a better situation. - Reich is a Players coach. Players loved him. - was good year 1 then year 2 was caught off guard by Lucks retirement in preseason. - Rivers was brought in the next season because Reich had coached him in San Diego. -Rivers retired so they scrambled and Reich vouched to trade for Wentz who he had success with. - Wentz refused to get vaccinated which was a controversy. Wentz ended up getting covid late that year and missed some practice. -at the end of the Season, Irsay told Reich he never wanted to see Wentz again. They then went onto trade for Ryan. - few games into this season. Irsay told Reich that he was to bench Ryan for Elinger. Then eventually fired Reich. Hired Saturday which they then went back to Ryan. -mentioned OL injuries this year early. And no one outside of Pittman weapons wise.
  12. That’s pretty much what he said in the interview
  13. Actually I came away with Young from that description. He’s small but a tough MF. He’s stayed in calm while taking some big hits (see Tennessee game) a playmaker, the way he’s used his legs is like a gamer. and one of the best pure decision makers to come out in a while. which hit all his points. He’s just small.
  14. Shroud has been very open about faith and stuff too.
  15. “Mr Tepper made it clear. We’re going to build the best staff. Not just calling up your buddies.” So no more bring your Baylor buddies along
