  1. The thing about Chinn is that he is confused on the field. He is learning slowly, but one he gets it he's going to be a force.
  2. The Texans will want Horn for sure. They need a #1 CB badly. Then they would also want Burns and 3 1st round picks. They might want another pick, but I think we can push back on that.
  3. https://www.si.com/nfl/texans/news/houston-deshaun-watson-carolina-panthers-trade#gid=ci029bf708c0002795&pid=gettyimages-1294353498 "Sources tell TexansDaily.com that Carolina is not expected to offer safety Jeremy Chinn in any deal. However, defensive end Brian Burns, defensive tackle Derrick Brown and cornerback Jaycee Horn could be on table in a trade, along with multiple picks."
  4. Rhule will be fired if he can't win soon with Watson. I would bet good money on that.
  5. We CERTAINLY don't want this staff drafting a 2022 QB.
  6. You know the Bucs are dreading Watson coming here. We would have the best QB in the South, and we can build from there.
  7. Have they done their restructuring already? I don't follow the Bucs. Tell me more.
  8. We have a few Jimmy Clausen supporters on this forum as well, but I'm not going to name them.
  9. I thin Seattle wants to rebuild things with a rookie QB. I'm nit hearing much about the Steelers wanting Watson. I think it's down to us and the Bucs imo, or other teams could pop up soon in the bidding.
  10. Cam and Watson are not the same player, please stop.
  11. I don't know what is going on with all the negativity and doomsday hypothetical scenarios, but it's getting weird around here.
  12. Interesting they have the same agent. Could be something brewing.
  13. Yes for the right price. No at the maximum price.
  14. I didn't tell you the trade amount I would be interested in for Watson. We could keep Reddick and Gilmore if we wanted to keep them. They were willing to come here, and that is the point.
  15. Reddick and Gilmore were happy to come here. We can always add good free agents. Now yes I agree we can't do a deal where we are left with way too many holes.
  16. Well rest assured that our GM, the guy who thought Sam would become a star, won't be making the Watson decision. It will be toddler head Rhule, so no worries right?
  17. Fear might drive Rhule to pull the trigger on a QB in this draft, and at worst if the QB doesn't pan out we're out that draft pick. However, that would probably end Rhule's time here as well. If the QB plays well, then we may have our franchise QB. I'd rather draft o-line or some other position, but I'll be surprised if we don't pick a QB.
  18. If Rhule drafts a QB then we're going to get slaughtered in the upcoming season, and we'll have a high pick in the wonderful 2023 draft. If he doesn't draft a QB, and we don't land Watson on a good deal, then we're going to be destroyed in 2022, and same high pick in the 2023 draft.
  19. The price for a high 2023 draft pick is a terrible 2022 season and an empty home stadium. That is exactly where we are headed at the moment, and our reward won't be near until this time next year. That is if we stay the current course.
  20. Overpaying for Watson would be a disaster. To me overpaying is 3 1sts, a second, and two of our young players who were high draft picks. To hell with that.
  21. We'll just have to take our medicine this season. And by medicine I mean me watching the games later while I'm doing chores and not really paying attention.
