  1. Pretty sad when a guy off the streets can come in and throw for as many yards as Willis did in any game. And he did it in the first half.
  2. Glad Brady knows he's going to the playoffs. I guess Atlanta or the Panthers are a concern.
  3. I assume this is sarcasm. Chizik is worse 10x than Holcomb.
  4. This weekend will make the decision on Wilks. He's already trending down because we got our butts whipped at home against the Owner's old team. I am sure that still stings for Tepper. The only thing, IMO, that gives Wilks the job is winning the NFCS. I am 99.9% sure that if Wilks. stays as HC Holcomb will be our DC. I am tossed as to whether we retain McAdoo. McAdoo has a good offense when it is uncontested but when a defense bottles his running game up, he doesn't seem to have an answer. That will reflect on the HC so Wilks needs to think long and hard on keeping McAdoo as OC. I think another factor will be if Levis is available at our pick. Seems Tepper really likes him and might insist Fitterer draft him. If he does I think he'll want an OC that can develop Levis.
  5. We need to ask the referee for Flags for Brady because I am sure that if we so much as touch him they'll give him roughing the passer.
  6. 95% of the huddlers that are screaming to tank for the #1 pick. You've seen the board blow up because we didn't draft Justin Fields. Chicago is 3-12 and everyone thinks he's the 2nd coming of Hurts. Imagine had we passed on Wilson and Fields. Warner is a prime example of what he's talking about. Nobody wanted him. Finally made it to an an NFL roster and became a HOFer. It's not always measurables it's also what's between the ears. We should look at talent but we should also look at those QBs that bring their team from behind to win games. I don't think there is a formula for selecting a franchise QB. I agree that the probability is much better with a higher pick but never surprised when that 3rd rounder outshines a first rounder.
  7. You know it is sad that we have to believe this might happen. I was always skeptical until SB50 and the farce the NFL made over giving Manning another SB victory as a going away present. The calls during that game were blatant and truly unfair. I won't be surprised to see it happen next Sunday.
  8. Wilks has bombed on two games that could have kept us going. Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. This game against Tampa will tell all. One it will almost give us the division and a shot at the playoffs. If he bombs this one than I think he seals his own fate.
  9. Who is this draft would you consider a franchise QB? I don't see any. I see marginally better than Darnold but nothing screams game changer.
  10. Both teams had to play on this surface. It's not like we made it softer when we had the ball. It's nothing more than excuse.
  11. Sam did a great job and everybody contributed. Marshall had a couple catch, Moore being Moore and the running game was incredible. Sam said he watched and learned and watched other games as well. He's young and deserves credit for orchestrating a good game.
  12. Record setting Day. Merry Christmas Great Job Panthers
  13. As do I, if we draft a QB in round one I would have to assume that they really think he's the best value at our drafting position. I just don't want us to draft a QB in round 1 just to say we have our 1st round QB. I think at our current draft position those QBs that MIGHT make a difference will be gone. I'd rather use the pick on a position that our new OC can use. Really good tight ends are hard to come by. Brady made a career out of using them. He's had great tight ends most of his career. You see the different without Gronk this year. A top talent WR would be a huge addition next to Moore who would be amazing with someone to take the pressure off of him.
  14. What facts? He's already out of the boot and progressing to be ready for OTAs. FACT Injury was caused by poor 4th and 5th string O-line play. Bad play? Anyone that got treated that way would have played poorly. You have never acknowledged that Rhule screwed our chances to see what he could do. You don't know what his talent level is because he's never been evaluate properly. Trolling? Hahahahaha this comes from the Tanking king of the forum. When most know professional football teams and players don't Tank. Furthermore, you're the one that's putting all these QBs on some type of podium of greatness. Nice try, TROLL
  15. No different than CMC's injury, No different than Darnold's injury. He's already out of a boot and should be ready by OTAs. Terrible coaching is putting it lightly. You're going to sit here and tell me that 5 minutes at the end of practices is valuable training? Valuable Reps? Where he had a competent line to work behind? His first outing was bad but his second was much better considering he wasn't getting valuable Reps in practice. Nothing to look forward too? One of his attributes is his quick release. Better than any prospect in years, YEARS. You've obviously forgot many of the reasons we took him over Howell. (who I wanted) Stroud = System QB and looked bad against good talent Young = More injury prone than Corral. Corral's injury was his ankle. Young's was his shoulder and he was barely touched when he got hurt. I saw the game when he got hurt and it ws not a bad hit at all. Not to mention his size Levi = another that looked terrible against upper echelon teams. Has the tools but does he have the moxie. The ones below him have far many more questions than Corral.
  16. Corral stock dropped because of some off the field issues not talent. The only reason he didn't get a legitimate shot last year was because of Rhule and his childish competition between a player no longer on the team and Darnold. Rhule chose his poison once he traded for Mayfield. He wasn't going to waste his time on Corral or any other rookie. Though, well documented Rhule did nothing for Corral, you and others make all these lame excuses why we shouldn't work with Corral and choose a QB in this draft that isn't much better, if better at all. I'd be ok with Stroud, Young or Levi otherwise we are wasting our 1st round pick if we draft a QB. We've argued this several times. You're a tanker that thinks the only thing we need on this team is a QB. You'll sacrifice everything for one, regardless of whether he's worth it or not. Corral WILL battle for a spot regardless of where we choose a QB.
  17. What's the point of drafting a QB that has more questions about them than Corral? If you have a shot at Stroud, Young or maybe Levi than I get it, but all the others have more questions than answers. Corral or whoever our new coach brings in with him is going to have a better chance of success if we draft more weapons like a TE or WR.
  18. I'm not against adding a QB in the upcoming draft but I also don't want to draft one in the first round just to say we drafted a 1st round QB. There are other potential starting QBs in round 2. You don't pass on a player that could be a game changer and take a QB that's not worth the value you are using the pick on. We aren't a QB away from the Super Bowl.
  19. Wonder how many big games he loses before they turn? He's gonna get destroyed in the Big 10. He'll get exposed when half the conference is ranked in the top 25.
  20. Talk about delusional. Some of you are so hellbent on getting a QB in round one just to say we drafted a QB in round one. You'll take said QB regardless of his question marks. We aren't getting Stroud or Young, both have concerns, but they'll be long gone by the time we pick. But then again, you're part of the Tank for a QB crowd. Tanking is a fans term not a team term. Most have said that we aren't contending next year so why not get another position of need and see what Corral has? If he going to suck so bad, we'll be in the mix for Maye or Williams, who are far better QBs than any in this draft.
  21. The "healthy" portion IMO is over blown. His injury in preseason was a freak accident but whatever. I've seen some clips where he doesn't always go to the first read. But you can make an argument that ALL of the QBs coming out in this draft have just as many question marks as Corral does.
  22. Yes, that seems to be an issue. It seems the target gets open, and it takes him another second to make the throw. I know that many don't want Corral but one of his attributes is his quick decision and release. I would love to see what he can do with some real Reps next year.
  23. I don't want him as a head coach but I'd jump through hoops to get him as our DC. I loved watching our defense when he was here. He was great in Pittsburgh too. He's a perfect fit for DC. A DC that won't leave for a HC job.
  24. Wilks is a good motivator and has this team believing they could win. BUT when you get manhandled not once but twice there is something wrong with you in game adjustments. Cincinnati destroyed us and Pittsburgh demoralized us. Bring in an offensive minded HC and he'll hire a protege to be the OC and then you find a DC that will stay a DC even after a good season. Someone who's been a HC before and realizes his position in this league is a coordinator. Dom Capers is a Senior Defensive Assistant and is a perfect coach that fills my DC criteria. He's been a HC twice. His forte is defense. If he were to come here as a DC he would probably stay even if we do well defensively.
