  1. Darnold has not shown much promise but if he ever is going to succeed this will be his year.
  2. I think we are going to see a notable difference in this team. Not only do we have better talent on the O-line but the entire coaching staff is full of NFL experience. Compared to last season where we had a bunch of Rhule's hand picked college coaches. Those coaches were in way over their heads and I am glad Tepper insisted that Rhule bring in experienced NFL coach. Fitterer did a good job identifying these coaches and hiring them. I believe that most NFL coaches have forgotten more than a college coach ever knew.. I think McAdoo is going to bring some thump to our offense. Snow's defense is going to be much better also even though we lost Riddick. I also believe with assistant coaches like Campen and Wilks this team is going to be like Night and Day from last year. I am anxious to see how this team starts to mold together as OTAs, Minicamps and training camp.
  3. I am obviously in the minority here. Cam WOULD be better than anything we could acquire right now. I think if he had a complete off season with this team. Have a chance to work with the offense from day one. Cam would show everyone that he isn't finished. At minimum he is leaps and bounds better than PJ and should be given the opportunity to compete at the position. If he can beat out Darnold and PJ or whoever is on the roster he should be our QB1.
  4. Watched a couple of videos. Good god what a beast. Great pick
  5. I'm sure they were on the phone. Most of the top 5 had their pick in pretty quickly. In the end someone was trying to fleece us and Fitterer said "No Way"
  6. McAdoo has his power running game. If we don't go for Baker, Darnold won't have to do much to move this team.
  7. All the talk of all these trades, including us, and not a one so far. Teams have their eyes on players that are falling to them.
  8. Perfect scenario for us. Worst for the Falcons. They need defense and the first 5 were defensive.
  9. I lifelong Panther fan going to play LT for us. Couldn't have asked for a better pick.
  10. Who would have ever thought that all 3 tackles would be there at 6
  11. With 3 OTs available I think it's possible that one might slide to 10 or so. If the Jets don't go with Sauce now maybe they trade 10 to 6 and get him.
  12. The weekend here is Friday and Saturday. Ramadan ends on the 30th. All ministries are off all next week. I have 9 days off and don't work until the night of the 7th. This part of the world has more holidays than days of work.
  13. After I retired from the USN, I spent 2003 to 2019 supporting our troops but this job, I am working for a company that supports the F18 Hornet for the Kuwait Air Force. A bunch of retired Sailors doing what we did on active duty.
  14. I am hoping we trade down and still get an OT and get Howell. That said, I will be 100% onboard on whoever we take and all the Karen's that blown a gasket and say they quit on this team. We'll see you in September.
  15. Hahahaha.... Sadiki . Kuwait is a dry country so homemade is the only sauce in town. Any real alcohol will cost between $100 and $200 a bottle. No, full room carpets but the Mosques erupt every couple of hours. Especially since it is Ramadan.
  16. Sitting up at 3am to watch this draft. Thank God I don't have to work tomorrow but have Bowling at 9am.
  17. I liked the piece on Willis. Sounds like a real down to earth guy. Good Luck to him whoever picks him.
  18. I know some sites that you have to wait 24-48 hours before you can post. Is that possible here?
  19. I think what makes this one interesting is how this draft will fall out. No one is a clear #1. For us it will be how we handle our pick. Will we see a trade down and pick up a LT and still get a QB or will we sit at 6 and hope Sam has a better season. It's not as exciting as having 11 picks but definitely interesting.
  20. Teams or writers will do anything to get a player to fall to them. How many mid-round teams would love to get there hands on Neal.
  21. Trading picks, I don't see it. Trading a current player maybe. I seriously doubt that we'll value a player over Burns or CMC. Robby and a 3rd next year might work but I doubt we trade any active player.
  22. Once again, Unless we trade down in the first we won't have a 2nd or a 3rd to offer for a 2nd round pick. No team is going to trade a 2nd round pick for a 2nd round next year. They'll want a first. IF, we managed a 2nd round pick we would have to give up a 2nd and 3rd and possibly more in 2023. That would put us in the same situation we are in this year.
