  1. Panthers 27 Jets 17 Panthers defense does a good job shutting down Wilson but do break down and allow for one long TD pass to rookie Elijah Moore who beats Donte Jackson. Darnold starts slow and early on the Jets look like they might win the game. Darnold turns it on after settling down and the Panthers pull away in the second half.
  2. I mean, I get the Panthers aren't on the same level as like the Patriots, Steelers, Packers, etc. But saying we're on the same level as the Jets shows how delusional Jets fans are about their own level of pathetic.... The Jets are one of the worst franchises in the NFL over the last 50 years. Since 1970, the Jets have a paltry record of 341-449-2, and only 12 playoff appearances. Since 1970. 12 in 50 years. They make the playoffs an average of under 1 out of every 4 seasons. The Panthers are average. Since 1995, the Panthers have a record of 200-215-1, and 8 playoff appearances. The thing that really sets the Panthers apart are two Superbowl appearances in the last 18 years. The Jets cannot say the same. So let's just put that ridiculously wrong comment from an idiotic Jets fan to bed, forever.
  3. I don’t think any other team’s fanbase realizes how much better the defense will be this season. Zach Wilson is going to have a long day.
  4. Whitehead should have been cut in like Week 5 last season.
  5. Damn what a move. Not used to seeing straight robbery like this.
  6. We will see after practice. Daley or Brown is an improvement honestly. Michael Jordan in the mix.
  7. To be honest that start and finish would be pretty par for the course for Panthers in recent memory. Hot start, complete and utter sh*t the second half of the season.
  8. Yea, someone is going to completely tank. Probably the Eagles or Texans.
  9. The Panthers will have a good season if two things happen: The defense can get off the field on 3rd downs unlike last season The offense can sustain drives and score more consistently in the red zone Thats really it. Those two areas improve over last year this could be a playoff team.
  10. I had a dream last night I was on vacation in the Bahamas and I looked at the TV behind the swim up bar and the Panthers beat the Jets 20-17.
  11. I think the coaching staff might be assuming these guys weren’t playing at 100% in the preseason and might turn it on when the season starts. Might backfire immensely.
  12. That’s a David Newton move geez. And he works for the team now.
  13. Gantt really pulled a quote from that article about Darnold and used it for PJ? Cmon bro do better.
  14. Doesn’t matter what these fools think as long as the Panthers win games. Really going to come down to Darnold and the offensive line as we all know
  15. He was the returner last year and he was recently cut from the Jaguars. He was perfectly acceptable and could step right in. Unless they are planning on having DJ Moore or CMC do it LOL
  16. The first round pick next year, I guarantee it, will be a QB, LT, or MLB. Depending on how this season goes.
  17. I was unable to verify this. And it would not surprise me if CMC was not vaccinated.
  18. If Bridgewater could throw deep DJ would have had at least 2-3 more TDs last season.
  19. Do you think Sam Darnold will be the franchise QB of the Panthers? Who is/was your favorite teammate in your time on the Panthers?
  20. I’m not super stoked about Darnold. I watched him at USC and never quite understood why he was so hyped. He always felt like a 2nd-3rd round project QB to me. I’m not that optimistic he’s the guy but hoping for the best. Really wish there was a plan B on the roster. Jameis made sense where he was drafted. He’s shown he can play in the NFL but needs a situation more tailored to his skills and a risk averse offense. I think he turns it around in New Orleans. I’d rather have Jameis right now on this Panthers offense than Darnold.
