Not to early to talk 2026 Hall of Fame nominees
hepcat replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
Steve Smith should absolutely be in the HOF. He's not because of his personality, not his accomplishments on the field. Luke Kuechly should be first ballot, everyone knows that he was a HOF level player. Olsen, Kalil, TD, are all probably going to wait for a down year opportunity. -
Schefter: Tet McMillan did not practice today (calf)
hepcat replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean I HAVE to assume he requested a trade even though either party won't outright say it. They put Coker on IR right afterward. So why do that AND trade Thielen AFTER cutting Renfrow? Goofy stuff. -
I think he's already in contention. highlight reel INTs like he had against the Jags will do that too

We won, but Bryce and Canalas still blow
hepcat replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not a good take after a shutout blowout win over a division opponent. If they squeaked out an undeserved win like if they managed to win last week you might have a point -
Pinero was garbage. So glad they finally got a legit kicker for the future

Official Week 3: Panthers vs. Falcons Gameday Thread

No reason to show up to watch this garbage team. They’ll move before they start winning again -
Official Week 3: Panthers vs. Falcons Gameday Thread

Bijan Robinson is going to have 200 total yards easily. Falcons are going to kick the living dog poo out of this sorry team -
He commanded too much respect from the players. They played too hard for Steve. Only time I’ve ever seen the team come out and play hard for 4 quarters was in some of the games Wilks coached.

Smitty goes off on CLT on WFNZ
hepcat replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Haha yea I’m really surprised Smitty is still rambling on and on with awful takes about WRs without catching flak for THAT sh*t daily -
Who is a bigger bust than Bryce Young? Who??? For the aggregate cost paid vs value gained, he is, by far and away, the biggest draft bust in maybe the history of sports.
-
The one thing Scott Fowler didn't mention was that Arizona started blitzing the hell out of Bryce on that final drive daring him to throw fast and beat them with his arm. Canales and Bryce had no answer. If it weren't for penalties the drive would have been over in 4 plays with 0 positive yards gained, most likely only negative ones from sacks.

Not sure about 1 first round pick, but 2? Absolutely.
-
It was the return for the value of the player. If someone came and offered me $20k over the blue book value of my car, even though I don't have another vehicle at the moment, it's worth the short term pain to realize that long term gain. It was just dumb to reject such a great value for a single player.
-
I think the absolute ceiling is 5 with Bryce. I’m expecting 3. They will absolutely beat the Saints at least once, maybe twice.
-
I think we saw exactly who Bryce Young is on the final drive of the game.
-
Never made sense to me either. Dan Morgan was in the room when they refused to trade Brian Burns for a QB level haul of picks. Everyone should have been fired into the sun the moment that trade was rejected.
-
They are all meaningful until they're out of playoff contention. Bryce returned last year when they were what, 1-7?
-
Don't wish injury on anyone so that's a bummer. But he wasn't the answer at center.
-
He has never once played well in a meaningful NFL game.
-
They traded Thielen to keep a receiver with raccoon hands
-
He went to Arizona playing in the same state, I see nothing odd

Yea it’s just better they stop existing at this point. It’s never going to get better.
