Agreed. This team was carrying 5 TEs out of training camp. When I saw Ian Thomas still getting a fair number of snaps I thought maybe Arnold would be a surprise cut. I don’t think the Panthers wanted to get rid of Arnold because of his play or anything, but I think it was just a value vs need thing. Losing Horn made the defense less dynamic and they had a chance to get a guy with similar traits.

The game was hyped up more than other games. I think the NFL realizes the Panthers might be a contender this season. I have a feeling if the wins keep coming we might get flexed into a Sunday Night game later in the season

Short week and turf has injured many players. Someone should do a study on the increased injuries of a short week. Depends. Could be a hairline fracture that heals up in a month. But the way Horn was grimacing and needing help off the field, I have a feeling it’s a more extensive injury.
