  1. man there is something about our D today...they look like crouching Panthers licking their chops and bristling for the opportunity to spring
  2. Buuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. declining that penalty means Jaycee has his first statistic. 1 tackle. and counting
  4. your fame is growing...this post made the game thread on the Jets board
  5. I do that quite frequently for lunch...bone=in buffalo, add a few jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks....what's not to like?
  6. first game, new QB thoughts... -keep penalties down, especially on oLine - Horn will have trouble at some point, be patient - pass rush needs to live up to it billing - missing a top 3 cb, next man up - is Chinn close enough to the action now that he's at safety - wildcard: Luvu...he flashed in preseason...can he be the answer at LB? Get Darnold settled, not spectacular...just get comfortable, a base to build from. Let's Go Panthers! Lightning fast, big black cats!
  7. We're back....back again! Seems like it took forever, but NFL football is back and so is the menu thread! What's on your menu for the game? A big Sir Purr salute who will be eating hot dogs, nachos and whatnot at BOA today... Been a busy week, no time to plan anything elaborate, decided the humble yet glorious chili cheeseburger would be a fitting way to start our fall tradition. Nothing fancy, just meats, cheese, bread, mustard and a cold frosty beverage or eight. Let's go Panthers! Football is back!
  8. and I'm ok with that. They know they have to account for CMC, but that's what Brady's offense does. Despite our OL, if Sam can diagnose and make quick decisions, we'll move the ball.
  9. Terry Rozier seemingly organized an off-season team workout in Miami with trainer Anthony Wells II https://www.atthehive.com/2021/9/8/22662788/charlotte-hornets-come-together-for-full-squad-workout-terry-rozier-miami?utm_campaign=atthehive&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
  10. yeah it's officially an unofficial chart. I have no idea what kind of punters we're facing in the first 3 or 4 weeks, so here's hoping they kick the crap out of the ball and DJ/CMC just fair catch. will admit though, it is fun to think about Christian catching the ball with 10 yards open space to work with. Also pretty sure Rhule's focus on downfield blocking in all aspects of the game might not make this as dangerous as past regimes. Might.
  11. neither are DJ and Christian. Shi's draft profile: Analysis: Smith was a shining light in what was a dreary 2020 season for South Carolina. He’s a sure-handed receiver with outstanding quickness and toughness as well as a head for the game. Smith possesses the ability to line up as a third receiver who can be used in the slot, returning punts, or running reverses. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/shi-smith-nfl-draft-player-profile-south-carolina-wide-receiver/ I did finally find stats that show he never returned punts in Columbia, and you are right, KR and PR are two different things. I'd rather go get someone than have 5 TEs on the roster and our two best offensive weapons getting more wear and tear.
  12. I'm ok with DJ or CMC if a game is on the line, but I thought we were going to give Christian a lesser load to keep him healthy. We need Shi to get healthy fast. Chuba seems like the obvious guy, but the fumble thing....
  13. got a new computer a week ago, getting settings adjusted. Couldn't read twitter posts here, but could on twitter. Got that fixed now.
