  1. I was kinda thinking that as well, until I saw the targets vs. catches stat. 304 targets for 142 catches. Could be bad QB's, hands, concentration, etc....not sure, but that's just not good, even worse than our own KB, who was a raw rookie.
  2. If I'm Chip, I'm making this move if it's at all reasonable.
  3. They drafted really well, and have a 3rd round QB still playing on his rookie deal. Russell makes a ton of money outside the lines, and is probably fine with playing on cheaper deal, if they try to win now. They have a nice 2 year window, but after that, expect the team to be blown up and start over as Russell rounds out from a "game manager" to a "franchise QB". They have situated themselves very well.
  4. Thank you DG, thank you so much for staying away from this so far.
  5. There will be surprises. AZ, Rams, Eagles, Giants...someone will throw a curve.
  6. It's probably what I would do if I was the GM, with an owner going through all kinds of poo right now. Blow it up, and start over with your young guys. Probably would cut bait on SP as well.
  7. Yup. Gauging how much Brees has left in the tank, and looking at the current roster, they knew they couldn't get out of the wild card game, even with Brees. Needed to get some cap room, get younger, and get ready for 2016. Don't be surprised if they grab a QB early.
  8. Agreed, I like the deal for the Saints way more than Seattle.
  9. We have a big red zone WR in KB, we need speed. Only guy that intrigues me is Moore, and I don't think that he can catch.
  10. Totally agree. I'm thinking we find a stop gap (Oher maybe?) or after first rounds of cuts depending on how the draft falls. You get a team that drafts one high, and can slide right in and start, and we may be able to trade or sign one after cuts. Either way, we will have to look very hard at upgrading this position.
  11. The question for the FA WR pickup....who?
  12. I still think that we "need" an OT moreso than a safety, but I think it could be debated either way.
  13. I have to wonder if this nonsense has anything to do with the race of the said football player? If you can't see that Luke is the best 43 MLB in the game, then you cannot be helped.
  14. Minny will take whatever comes their way. I would be trying to get him and his salary off the books pronto.
  15. Anytime I can trade a RB over 25 with a 10 plus million dollar cap hit, I'm doing it. Getting Kiko in return is just icing on the cake.
  16. Long term in Oak or Jax if I had to guess. They both need to spend money. Oakland loves their "bad boys" and Gus down in Jax is a defensive guy.
  17. At his age, and for only a 10% pay raise from the LB to DE....that would be really dumb. He could never recoup the lost wages.

    Bad friend

Friendship is a two way street, and it isn't always A1A. Personally, I would let the friend know that you paid for her child to attend the party, and that you don't want anything in return, but you wanted to let her know. In addition to that, I would not be calling her or reaching out any longer. Time is valuable, but so are your feelings. I'm not going to let someone else's flippant attitude towards friendship hurt me. Cut them out of your life, but be prepared to explain why a little later on. I wouldn't hesitate to tell her why you no longer call her when she finally reaches back out.
  19. If he want's to get one more payday, I can see him coming here on a cheap 1 year deal to try to get his worth back up. If he is set, he may want to go home.
