Branch and Sanders are definitely the top of the board. If they came off I start thinking real hard about a TE. Porter, Smith, and Ringo are all potential starter talents at CB but I’d prefer to move down a bit before taking one.

yeah, so my thing is that this team with a rookie QB is logically in a two off-season window before you really plan on trying to make a real serious run. You can also scheme up pass rush whereas you can’t just hide an awful corner. With the Jackson injury, CB is every bit the need that edge is and I’d like to see them mine the talent there rather than hope yet another high second round edge player is the dude like drew sanders though

This isn’t really a great 1st round. More forgiveable to swing at one of the few elite talents in Robinson than it may normally be, especially since it will probably help them be competitive this season. on the plus side, it will keep them competitive this season and probably in QB purgatory unless Ridder does what he statistically isn’t likely to do.

If this doesn’t convince Dave the dude is just pure ego worried about your undersized QB? Get every advantage you can. Give him a cushioned playing surface to land on rather than green concrete.
