  1. do reporters simply have so little respect for this organization that they fear absolutely no rePurrcussions of publicly leaking private conversations for those sweet juicy clicks this is twice now this season
  2. I don’t feel like your argument here makes much sense. McCaffery was a pretty valuable tool for a rookie QB. A center is not. The inferior rookie RB they’re now forced to draft may be but not at Mccafferys level. The ole 2nd round wideout sure hasn’t paid dividends for this team since Moose. maybe if they package both 2’s to go get the notre dame TE I’ll be contented but I’m pretty sure this was just about fitterer chasing his own tail trying to replace everything he’s given up.
  3. hey jay they probably weren’t expecting you to go tell everyone they asked you that
  4. you still have to have a good football team to win games color me unconvinced that whatever depth piece they acquire out of this is better for their overall competitiveness than what they had-mccaffrey and the inside track to the top pick
  5. middle round picks dont attractive innovative offensive minds innovative offensive talents do
  6. the silver lining here is that this more or less solidifies having the top pick or two in the draft but they were already on pace for that anyways and there were other ways to help solidify that without moving yourself farther way from their ultimate goal as they did with this trade this team was quite realistically staring down the barrel of having a stroud or young in the backfield alongside mccaffrey, now they’ll have one of them back there with an inferior player they used the 2nd round pick on this was about scott fitterer trying to get back to net neutral to execute his poor vision of how to manage a football team
  7. the team has other pieces. What it needed was to make a massive investment at the most important position on the field to make it all work. now the team has less pieces and almost certainly only got a high end backup or low level starter to show for it
  8. I’m guessing this more or less kills any fleeting interest Brian burns had left in resigning here
  9. lol if this team trades a true game changer for a center
  10. you just don’t get it man, but if you follow me on Twitter you’ll see that I’ve got some really excellent write ups on some exciting middle round prospects that I discovered due to my vast scouting mind and YouTube.com follow me at Twitter.com/draftsagemaster17notaforumguyliterallyascoutingguru
  11. this team has without a doubt the worst ownership in any of the four major sports
  12. also lol at the “the panthers are too proud to firesale” crowd they couldn’t get a current year pick for anderson and just gave away their lone game changer for a slew of developmental backups and an inferior RB they’ll have to take
  13. all the “mock drafts are more important than players” people will be happy but as we saw with fitterer’s original draft here-a pointless slew of mid round picks a good football team does not make this was just fitterer chasing his own tail trying to rectify the mistakes he made ”we can’t have just four picks!” lol you’re the one that gave them away. Take your medicine. this honestly reminds me of the post lockout spending spree.
  14. they’ll collapse back in on old school hat on a hat stuff with a back in foreman that is accustomed to running behind it and I would not be surprised in the least if this stupid team saw a fleeting bit of success out of it before they go out and embarrass themselves trying to find an “innovative offensive mind” who laughs at them because there’s nobody here worth coaching
  15. the hilarious part is that the offense may be better in the interim because our garbage OC had absolutely no idea how to use mccaffery cant wait to sneak out a few dumb wins and miss out on a top pick AND lose the single player on this team with any game changing potential in exchange for a few developmental backups
  16. this is such an awful organization
  17. every team is forced to abide by the same rules and has the same window. Some teams do it well and others don’t. Trying to criminalize success on the field and intelligent maneuvering off of it doesn’t seem worthwhile.
  18. the other point of discussion is here is what position is Chinn going to be playing because I’m pretty done with seeing that guy try to be pegged as a true safety. bulk him up, and I suppose you’ve opened the door to offloading Thompson, not that I relish it.
  19. this just punishes teams who do well. Teams aren’t “manipulating” anything. The salary cap is not an important moral entity. It isn’t a moral wrong to not revere it and receive punishment for not obsessing it over like fans do. fans are only salty because they justified their team’s stubborn refusal to get better through high price trades or free agents as being fiscally necessary while well ran teams continued to add talent and win footballs games with no regard for the salary cap, rationalizing that “one day they’ll see! They’ll all see!” eventually those fans realized that the window you can buy yourself through good management of the salary cap process is so long that it doesn’t really matter if eventually the bill comes due.
  20. I don’t think a WR would be out of the question at the top of the 2nd round but ideally you’re getting the top ranked TE. I’d like to say pass rusher but I cannot remember the last time a top of the 2nd round DE actually became a great player. WRs do. LBs do. TEs do.
  21. the offense can literally not score a single touchdown in a football game and people are still suggesting defense offense and defense are not equal parts of the formula for success anymore, you can LOAD THE D as much as you like and still be a horrible football team
