  1. I hope they’re upset its a nice bit of medicine for them to swallow
  2. Daniel Jeremiah was talking earlier about how college coaches have a terrible propensity to equate prospective nfl talents to what they were when said college coach was recruiting them rhule thinks he’s in a candy store full of guys he just narrowly missed out on at Baylor when he’s just stockpiling garbage players
  3. lol at giving up a 5th to ensure you get this deal done
  4. if we draft him I’ll develop an irrational hope for his success
  5. keeping low info posters like you abreast of what’s happening is one of my public services
  6. Fitterer really thinks because Seattle fell backwards into Russell Wilson in the third that it’s an effective way of finding a QB
  7. Grant is always doing stupid things when I watch his game mashups im not sure how much I care about a great senior bowl in light of that
  8. was it all the high round picks on offense or defense that you didn’t feel confident in when they were drafted? all the same, this attitude tends to overextend itself and manifest in ugly ways
  9. College coach syndrome guys are just a little bit of good feelings and Coach ‘Em Up away from being a tear jerking success story
  10. can he effectively steward the offense off play action as well is he a blue collar worker who really does some nice things can he effectively execute and distribute the ball with lots of grit too
  11. it just fascinates me that they can look at the history of the league and see all these embarrassing franchises that passed on hall of fame QBs because they had some huckster “that they really feel confident about” history alone should’ve warned them off this kind of move their draft strategy actually centers around a guy who has been the quite literal worst QB in the league for three seasons it’s hard to envision the current staff being the answer
  12. if Fields becomes a star then Fitterer and rhule are gone cant say I’d be willing to risk my nfl career on whatever angle they just talked themselves into
  13. where’s the guy who guaranteed Sewell at 2
  14. you start this exact thread literally every year
  15. I don’t care about the FC, positively or negatively, I’m merely pointing out that agendas come in all shapes and sizes, and I’d say your reaction would validate that you have one also it’s been pretty well accepted, and I believe even stated by the organization that the turf is being put in because of the FC and the cost of upkeep of grass, not because of the benefit it provides them on the field (I’m guessing it’s probably hazardous to their health as well) but because of them all the same watching you shill for a billionaire because he wants to save a few thousand on lawn maintenance though is certainly a character break, thus my supposition that you have your own agenda
  16. aren’t you one of this boards bigger soccer fans? I’m inclined to believe you just like the change because it’s being made with the fc in mind.
  17. perhaps but the complaint against putting out a willfully inferior product with legitimate concerns over the health of the entity that sells the tickets because Dave needs just a few more billions is valid
  18. most of those posts seem to relate to on field health and player interests, mine included
  19. right, all the grandstanding about “heritage” and “tradition” in your OP wasn’t meant to frame this as a discussion of old school types “clinging” in opposition to enlightened forward change, forgive my projection
  20. so it’s ultimately irrelevant to success, thanks for driving the point home
  21. you think that because it’s new it’s progressive and thus are apologizing for inherently unprogressive things turf isn’t helping teams win super bowls
