The boy gets very skittish once the ball is snapped and has a very tough time going through progressions. Comes to show how prospects that bloom out of nowhere aren’t always Burrows. He’s just never felt in command on offense, not NFL starter level at all. IMO—That class is looking like one okay to have passed on even with 5 QBs going in R1. It’s funny, the two that still have hope are the two original hyped guys (for a few years, they were): Lawrence and Fields. Lawrence though, Jax may be ruining him and his arm surprisingly seems meh in the big leagues. Burrow & Tua are the best in the last 3 classes. Herbert is falling behind them a bit with Hurts catching up…makes me wonder if Steichen is the key with those last two in LAC and PHI. That class has 4 top dudes. Comes to show—in college maybe it’s all about going for the obvious guy putting games on his back, a big arm, & against top competition. Not the guy hitting all the measurables on a middling squad that looks good in shorts.

Zach Wilson has looked anything but solid. He’s been more indicative of a bust than anyone else in that class. Jets record be damned.

I’ve always liked him, but absolutely, 10000%, no more retread vets. Just no.

DE Sam Williams on the Boys looks like a potential star. He’s low key having a great year for a rookie 2nd rounder.

Still can't believe Rhule sat Bozeman for Elflein. It boggles the mind, even knowing how bad of a coach he is.

Tampa's defense is healthy again. Looking sharp.

Marv Harrison Jr is looking like the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson. He may go 1 Overall in 2024. The WRs in this and next years draft are looking insane.

Totally! That's why if the powers that be swing for the fences with him, we strike gold.

So early faves may be losing juice but things are looking mighty interesting after this weekend. Cream rises to the top. Reeeeally interested to see the whispers after today in the college realm. Some formerly touted QBs (Richardson, Penix, Haeder, Ward) have been crushing.

I dunno but IMO Penix and Ward have consistently shown those flashes you look for. A bit extra spark, mix of upside and clutch gene. You look at some of these McCalls and McKay's of the world and then watch these guys get at it and I just think it's night and day. Definitely know the NFL staffing rooms look at more and certain guys just have the fundamentals down, but the intangibles with some of these west coast dudes is pretty nice.

Penix in the clutch. The anticipation on his throws are just great. Just love his game.

Yeah. I get your stance on the QBs, Corral, and strongly disagree. But no biggie, you don't look like one to be open to changing your opinion.

I like his accuracy, the size, the potential, the age. Young is definitely ahead. But Stroud is still lightyears better than any QB in this past class.

Richardson + Steichen is definitely interesting. Given how Herbert looked under Shane, and once he left, is a pretty good indicator about him as a coach. Then he proceeds to turn it up with Hurts, who as a prospect, would be considered in that Penix/Ward tier in this class. I love the idea of Steichen as HC more than anything but the potential of him guiding Richardson is tantalizing.

If you saw the throw he just had to the endzone, yeah, he's doing that as well.

Totally. It's the same group people were hyping up ~1.5 years ago, think a lot have either gone through a lull or the preseason hype of a few was louder and muted the others. Haener is a bit more of a longshot due to his size, but him and all the transfers in the Pac-12 are actually quite interesting. I do know McKee is high on scout radars per my one connection I have in pro football (scouting side in the bay area).

He's got some fun stuff out there. Pass heavy offense but they ask him to make a lot of NFL level throws. This was a cool thing after the UCLA win. His throw around the 3:30 mark
