The key words there are: Prevent: keep (something) from happening or arising. Defense: the action of defending from or resisting attack. As in the goal was to prevent them from scoring. They did not succeed. Bryce did, with an undrafted rookie.

Wins are not a QB stat. Every QB of the last 5 years has a better record without the Panthers than with the Panthers.

He got the same amount of quarters against a Broncos defense that every other QB did this year and did what no other QB has done at this point while working with less. That is a fact. Gotta give some credit to him for that regardless how you feel about his prospects going forward. If not it’s just hate.

At the end of the day he threw two TDs. No QB has done that against this defense this year. He did that without his top two WRs and a rookie as his #1. That’s something to build on from a young QB.

People are going to hate on you. Yea garbage time helped his numbers, but he’s still out there as a young guy throwing it to young guys with a young guy calling the shots. Context matters. He looked competent just play him.

Dominique Foxworth likes to say that players don’t bust, organizations do. I think that definitely applies here.

At some point yall will understand the situation is bad and the dysfunction of this franchise broke what could have been a good young QB. No QB has had any success here in a long time. We’re the modern Browns.
