  1. You don't need 1st round OLs You don't need a 1st round QB You don't need 1st round WRs You don't need 1st round RBs You need to accumulate the most draft capital in the league You need 1st round top talent defensive leadership You need mid round offensive leadership You need offensive playmakers with good hands and patience You need a good kicker You need top coaches who can manage the best leaders in the game, prepare their team, make halftime adjustments, and most importantly establish a CHAMPIONSHIP CULTURE with 9 core leaders who all play on the same frequency and respect one another more than they respect their coach, GM, and ownership. ... and you need a GM who understands these key foundational pieces to a championship team.
  2. Don't have to cope with our "terribleness". Lol I've expected this since the dismantling of the Panthers since 2014. Enjoyed the ride of the old guard from 2013 to 2015.
  3. Hoping for Bill's. Looking like a Brady v Mahomes rematch. The state of the NFL QB is garbage. Feels like a league of Joe Flaccos and Trent Dilfers.
  4. Jimmy G v Joe Burrow SB We are witnessing QB greatness! Legends being made.
  5. Jimmy G magic! You are witnessing greatness.
  6. So much confidence in the eyes of Jimmy G
  7. I believe Taylor Heinicke or Kyle Allen would be able to take that team with Chase/Mixon and perform well enough to get them past a beaten and bruised raiders team and whatever overrated AFC South team that walks into the playoffs. Down to the wire playoff games against the worst teams in the playoffs prove you don't suck as a starting QB. Don't have much hope for the Panthers. A truly great QB wouldn't save this mess, and a good QB would look like they peaked in college under Rhule.
  8. Nah. Glad I can make you laugh. I'll always smack down the kingmakers. You can say Burrow is good. You can argue he is top 15 QB in NFL. You don't crown a QB for that performance while not crediting the defense and kicker for carrying the offense. Mac Jones, Trevor Lawerence, Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins, Kyler Murray, Justin Herbert, and Jameis Winston are all on par with Joe Burrow. Good not great. Have fun with it LSU homer's unite. That Joe Brady greatness is coming to a team soon too.
  9. Never secured the ball. Bobbling in his arms.
  10. Jimmy Garoppolo is greatness. Only 8 more sacks to take, an int to throw, a defense to come up with 2 more turnovers including the final GB drive of the game, and a kicker to go 4/4 including the game winner. Formula for Jimmy G greatness. Let's go!
  11. Burrow is greatness. He proved it. Dominant performance. MVP. GOAT. Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco approved Let me know when he reaches Jake Delhomme or Rex Grossman GREATNESS status First QB in NFL to throw for over 300 yards in the playoffs and NOT pass for a TD. Legend status.
  12. Greatness is a 400 yard game and 0 TD with your defense and kicker needed to bail out the the team from that wall of greatness the QB keeps running into with his forehead
  13. The defense won it Jimmy How many TD drives for Burrow? He just glad Tannehill poo bed more Burrow Homer's call him magic lol. That D is the reason they're where they are at.
  14. Titans and Bengals unimpressive. Bengals overrated and headed into a buzzsaw with Burrow against the Chiefs or Bills.
  15. Burrow definitely not looking like a QB that can win a SB
  16. QBs not impressive Definite playoff defenses
  17. So, if you want to get good, then get bad. Well, seems Rhule is on track to get better. I now understand why we don't see it working.
  18. OL gets you to the playoffs QB gets you through the playoffs Defense wins you a championship So, I don't care how many 1st round QBs are in the playoffs. I care about how many 1st round QBs get you to the SB. Tom Brady(6), Nick Foles(3), Patrick Mahomes(top1), Jimmy Garoppolo(2), Jared Goff(top1), Matt Ryan(top1), Peyton Manning(top1), Cam Newton(top1), Russell Wilson(3), Joe Flacco(bot1), Colin Kaepernick(2), Eli Manning(top1), Aaron Rodgers(bot1), Ben Roethlisberger(top1), Drew Brees(2), Kurt Warner(undrafted), Rex Grossman(bot1), Matt Hasselbeck(6), Donovan McNabb(top1), Jake Delhomme(undrafted), Brad Johnson(9), Rich Gannon(4), Steve McNair(top1), Trent Dilfer(top1), Kerry Collins(top1), John Elway(top1), Brett Favre(2), Chris Chandler(3), Drew Bledsoe(top1), Steve Young(top1), Troy Aikman(top1), Neil O'Donnell(3), and Stan Humphries(6). These are the QBs capable of winning in the playoffs since modern free agency. Top1: 15 Bot1: 3 2/3: 8 4/7: 4 8+/Undrafted: 3 18 1st rounders of 33 QBs (55%). Now, consider 75% of teams have 1st round QBs starting. There is a greater success rate in the playoffs for NOT going with a 1st round QB. 50% of these SB QBs have not been with the team that originally drafted/signed them. Lesson: It is extremely risky to draft a QB in the 1st round.
  19. Carson Strong looks like an INT machine on the NFL level. Cement blocks for feet and a wind up to lose by. No thank you.
  20. I'd rather roll another year with Cam Newton and draft a QB in 2022
  21. Scottie Montgomery followed by his QB Carson Wentz Trade Darnold for Wentz Here it comes!
  22. Is Ben done or would you want him in a Panthers uniform ala Tom Brady with the Bucs?
  23. The answer is Devin Lloyd. NFL caliber leader and playmaker. Chinn SS, Shaq OLB, and Lloyd MLB. Then get John Ridgeway to keep them clean in the 3rd or 4th round. I can see Lloyd and Ridgeway stepping into the much needed leadership roles this defense needs to fill. Lloyd is a converted WR. He has hands and route running knowledge beyond any MLB in the draft. Student of the game and players follow him. True leader. And he is an even better run defender than he is at pass defense. Instant NFL impact. Last LB I was this high on going into the draft was Luke Kuechly 10 years ago. Prior to Kuechly I wanted Ray Lewis in 96 and Derrick Brooks in 95. I put Lloyd in the same category coming out of college. Pure next level leader and impact player.
  24. Doesn't matter who your coach is if Dak is the QB. Dak hit his ceiling and the greatest coach can't overcome QB play and decisions like that with the game on the line.
