    They have 13 wins in 27 games on bad teams who have replaced their coaches. They give bad teams a decent chance at winning. If Young produced close to them, many here would be cheering Young in his development.

    I know the WE NEED A 1ST ROUND QB NOW crowd will disagree with this, but this is the best play for the Panthers. I'd immediately sign Desmond Ridder and trade for Aidan O'Connell. Let them compete with Young. Let that play out over the next 3 seasons and draft Arch Manning if none of them are holding on to the starting QB spot with consistent GWD.

    I was with you. I laid out in detail how bad trading up was for the team and that drafting a 1st round champion QB to build around is a rarity. Only contending teams can afford to plug and play 1st round QBs. Bryce is definitely the worst QB value taken at #1 in the modern draft. JaMarcus Russell was likely worse as a QB.

    How delusional was Dan Morgan to think what the Panthers needed was 2 guards, a RB, TEs, and WRs? The QB wasn't being held back and the defense suffered for the front office's huge miss at QB.
