  1. Thats the thing. If you put somebody on the ignore list, then they win.
  2. Dude Rhule is an NFL headcoach. He has to manage like 30 things at a time. Every coach compartmentalizes a player injury during a game. It was just a bad cut from the camera.
  3. I think that's just Brian being candid and the fact that Rhule is a different type of coach from Ron.
  4. Personally I think DJ can run a late 4.3. He plays faster than his time. Something about his stride just takes a moment to hit top speed. But he can very much break away from the secondary.
  5. I mean I’m not the guys biggest fan but most of his throws were on the money today. But they clearly lack the confidence in him to air it out. He has a live arm though. Hope he gets a legitimate last chance this preseason and let fate play out.
  6. Eh I think its just a bad cut from the camera. Rhule did over to him when he was on the ground. Coaches are talking to 20 people at a time during the game.
  7. Wtf was their QB thinking? He had the underneath route.
  8. Depth wise yes. Nobody on Smiths level but top to bottom it has to be most complete one. Not sure that Shi Smith and Marshall have the speed of Cutis Samuel though. Last years unit was great too.
  9. I wouldn't look too much into it. This is their first time facing another team that I doubt they game planned for. Rhule has specific things he wants to see and work on. Not an excuse. But talent wise we can compete with these guys if it were a real game.
  10. Eh he probably just likes to teach and coach man. Seemed like a really nice guy and I enjoyed his efforts when he was with the staff.
  11. No that game was Manning getting his retirement trophy at the expense of Cam Newton and the Panthers. We didn’t have our best game but it wasn’t even close to a fairly called game. The Cotchery catch alone could have changed the game. Not to mention the fact that Cam was headhunted the entire game without consequence.
  12. They do one step forward and three steps back. The coaching adjustments are nice but the game is still plagued with the same problems for the last decade. Basically every other scrub just does the same no huddle run bullshit over and over to try and score. That or shotgun draw which is basically the most overpowered play in the game. Crucial dropped passed on 3rd and long for no reason. WR's getting rerouted with no flags. It is most definitely a bad game. The Panthers arent a bad team to use but Teddy is awful and has a 5 second wind up. The o-line gets destroyed by any team with a decent defense.
  13. Well it just shows a lack of research on the developers. Our defense is fairly stacked and offensively we are strong at the peripherals.
  14. My immediate reaction would be Butler, Dwane Jarrett, and Jimmy Clausen. Then Kony Ealy and Eric Shelton. I don't like calling guys bust who fell out do to injury. Biakabatuka could play, so could Otah.
  15. poo man we should have been using those when Luke and Morgan were here.
  16. We know Moton can play RT. We need to see if he can pull a Jordan Gross and go LT.
  17. Moton is the best option at LT. He was great in his 3-4 game stretch. Should have left him there a few seasons ago.
  18. I suspect the secondary will be fantastic this year. I know that’s optimistic but Rhule finds a way to get his players to overachieve. And that CB stable has A+ 1st round pedigree. We know Chinn will bring his A game and command the secondary. All it takes is Horn and Donte to buy in. Troy Pride made something of himself. Rhule likes the types that dig deep. We had no business being in some of the games we were in last year. Personally I’m excited to see how Donte does fully healthy and motivated with coach Rhule. Don’t forget our pass rush should be pretty scary this year. We haven’t had that kind of young and healthy talent since 2013.
