  1. Sure seems that way today. This entire half is squarely on Canales shoulders so far Our lack of run game cuz he’s flip flopping. Idiotic 3rd and 4th down calls spotting the Jets 3 points
  2. How many times have we needed injuries to factor into Canales making the obvious roster decision now?
  3. So Dave Canales preaches running the ball and Dowdle goes off the last two weeks and we’ve never looked better He thrusts Chuba right back into the starting role and this offense looks like ass again Nice
  4. Literally not even close Like i said if you wanna give the edge to Chuba in pass pro fine but that’s it and it’s not even freaking close
  5. Chuba starting is ridiculous Zero burst. Too patient. Dowdle just goes and fights through contact so much better the only thing Chuba does better is pass block
  6. Healthy scratch The only reason he ever saw the field or was brought back was because of the Thielen trade/Coker injury
  7. Lmao I guess Dan should expect that phone to be ringing at the deadline then for a guy that couldn’t crack the 53 of one id the weaker rosters in the NFL Renforw is done. That 4th down conversion is as good as it gets for him at this point. There wasn’t much hope for a guy his age after missing 2 years
  8. Bryce cannot spot them any points today with a reckless fumble or two
  9. I also expect Canales to call a lot of quick passing plays much like he did against Atlanta Our IOL with Lewis being out vs their DL probably isn’t going to end well for us
  10. It’s year 3. 2nd HC. Seems like Canales is slowly expanding the offense. There’s been a ton of change. Often times zero structure as a whole. The WR and TE rooms have been beyond ugly his entire time here. Thielen was literally the one guy he could count on to be where he needed to be and those two worked so well together because they complimented each others strengths I think the whole super processor thing was a bit overblown but give Bryce 5-6 years in the league and I think he’ll be an above average processor that throws with well above average anticipation. That combination should make him a solid QB Like almost any QB it’s on this organization to surround him with the proper players/coaches for him to be successful
  11. The fact you’re even questioning this just shows how terrible of a franchise we’ve been since day 1 Wr’s outside of TMac (who drops balls way too often) and maybe Coker are ass TE room is utter ass OL, run blocking solid. Pass blocking crappy RB’s: dowdle is solid. Chuba nothing special
  12. Which is also why we talk about there being a lower ceiling for Bryce I think Bryce sees the game decently well already given the mess this offence has been for the better part of his career. His big WTF plays are typically him just dropping the damn ball Which leaves me wondering sometimes what does peak Bryce look like. Guys like Sam you’d watch in NY/Carolina and he’d have so many boneheaded plays that you were left thinking if he could just clean these up you’d have a solid QB. And now we’re finally seeing Sam in a good offence and he’s able to play with timing and within structure and those boneheaded plays are cut down to 2-3 times a game Bryce doesn’t have a ton of boneheaded plays (minus flat out dropping the ball) so I dunno. I think Bryce can be a solid QB. Put Bryce in Seattle or Tampa and they’re still winning a lot of games Coaching and overall team matters so much. The only dude that I think could probably do the most with the least in this league would be Lamar
  13. Tools wise sure but Lawrence clearly struggles to read/see/understand the game
