When the trade happened I wanted Stroud the most. AR second and Bryce a distant 3rd I had this weird fomo with Bryce and also assumed he’d gain some damn weight I talked myself into Bridgewater, Darnold and Baker for the sake of fan excitement. I had concerns about Young’s arm strength and size. I’m over trying to squint to try and convince myself this ain’t the same crap we’ve been watching the last 4 years at quarterback. Bryce looked good against Detroit. Had that play against the Giants that Mingo dropped. I thought we were good. That Atlanta game was BAD and it’s been really bad since. Can’t deny that

I saw him say he didn’t expect to miss much time if any Really trying to think who’d they be calling about. Terry McLaurin? Davante Adams (almost 32)? I really don’t think the 49ers would trade Aiyuk. I’m ruling out the teams in our division so no Evans or Pitts. Amari Cooper? Jerry Jeudy can’t stay healthy. Courtland Sutton I’m not sure qualifies as top tier. Miami isn’t trading Waddle in year 3 of a rookie deal with a 5th year option. Jameson Williams hasn’t proved anything yet. Christian Watson? Devonta Smith? Tee Higgins makes the most sense I think. We’re not getting Chase or Jefferson

Dalton had 6 completions of 15+ yards in the one damn game he’s played in. Six. 2 touchdowns of 15+ yards. This is even more telling of what Frank thinks of Young’s arm. It truly couldn’t be anymore clear. They stand up there and tell us how smart Bryce is so it’s not a playbook thing. It’s a physical limitation thing.

Going to be tough to find a HC or OC wanting to come here and work with a QB that can’t throw more than 15 yards downfield

Person gets a lot of sh!t around here but he’s a pretty reliable source. He isn’t always right but from what we’ve seen from Bryce in 3 games and Dalton in 1, I think it makes sense Reich would have wanted Carr. It really does look like Frank doesn’t trust Bryce. The decision to try and move up to 1 happened well before Frank got here. I mean I knew they were going to try to get up to 1 before Frank got here. I think Frank is a terrible HC but this whole Bryce thing falls more on Tepper/Fitterer than it does Frank And to be clear it ultimately doesn’t matter who’s to blame for this we’re stuck in this situation now. We already know we have a David Tepper problem on our hands. I said the other day, he wanted fields and let Matt/Scott take Jaycee, he wasnt about to let the QB of his choice get overruled again
