He thought BC was a guard which he clearly isn't. That was obvious in preseason. Brown was an insane draft value in the 6th if he could get his weight under control which he has. The only thing I can figure is he took the last of the ribs during lunch one days and pissed Matt off and has been benched almost all season because of it.

Imagine what DB could have done if he had gotten to play more than 1 game this year

We won a meaningless game last year. We beat WFT. Man that was a great win. It meant so much. It only cost us draft position and we missed out on a franchise LT Rhule would have actually drafted. Boy that feel good game no one is going to give 2 shits about ever again vs a LT for the next 10 years is definitely worth it though.

In my ideal world, 1. we get blown out tomorrow resulting in Rhule getting canned. 2. We hire an actual NFL staff with experience 3. We manage to trade down and aquire at least a second but remain high enough in the 1st to aquire one of the top 3 tackles or Linderbaum if the trade is sweet enough to move down that far 4. No high priced FA. Darnold plays out year 5 as a backup. Cam or whoever at QB. Wait until 2023 to draft one. Get what we can and don't overpay our FAs on one year wonders. 5. Build a real culture in Carolina of winning and enough talking about it. Just fugging do it already.

Unless the NFL does something to quarantine players the playoffs are going to have a huge asterisk on them. Teams can't have 20-30 players out on covid protocol during the playoffs.

Of course they act like they believe in him. He's going to keep on paying them no matter how bad they suck. Miller and Jordan wouldn't be on a practice squad anywhere else in this league and they're starting for us. Elfein and Erving are backups at best and they got day 1 FA contracts. Darnold got a 5th year guarantee without ever taking a snap for us. His homerism for anyone from Temple or Baylor is ridiculous. PJ is not a legitimate NFL backup. Not even close. Just because players aren't calling him a dumb ass doesn't mean they don't think it.

So if Rhule gets credit for Reddick he also gets credit for Elfein. poo. Erving. poo. Miller. poo. Jordan. poo. Tecklenburg. poo. Paradis. poo. Not playing BC. poo. Not playing Brown. poo. Keeping PJ. poo. Using a basic high school offense. poo. Getting blown out by the Giants. poo. Getting outscored by the Hurricanes. poo. Thinking you're smarter than everyone else in the NFL while getting your ass handed to you while trading away your teams future. poo. Matt Rhule as an NFL Head Coach. poo.

It's a little early to start drinking for tomorrow's game, but if I was going to actually get drunk enough to watch it, I'd probably have to start now too.

What's even worse is we have ignorant people who insist they're smart and everyone else is too stupid to see the brilliance of their ways.

I can't say the Jags are the biggest dumpster fire. They at least fired their laughing stock of a head coach. We're doubling down on ours.

That's where I'm at. Panthers football was always the background around which we gathered. Now that money and interest will be spent elsewhere.

When they announce Rhule is officially back next year, I will officially check out. I will begin planning my golf trips for every Sunday next year. Every tee time will be booked and I will find myself a nice different scotch, whiskey or bourbon to share with my friends on the course and BBQ afterwards.

I'm not sure how we would be able to prioritize improving the offensive line and taking another swing at QB with no 1sts or 2nds for the next few years or cap room. I'm sure Watson or Wilson would be more than happy to line up every Sunday behind our core offensive line of Jordan, Elfein and Miller. It's a David Newton article.
