  1. yea i find it interesting that we started with more picks than we've had in years, and we will be finishing with less than we've had the entire Gettleman era thus far... like i said, we must be planning to heavily shop the UFDA market
  2. sounds like we will be heavily shopping the UFDA market this year for camp fodder. plan seems to be to grab immediate contributors in the draft, and fill out the initial training camp roster with UFDAs haha. any chance that TJ clemmings lasts until the end of the 5th round?! haha
  3. ouch. i may have to wait a week or so. i have 1000 dollars to raise in two weeks for a class i have to take to graduate on time. haha. booze can wait, my future is more important
  4. Panthers trade up to get Daryl Williams haha. will he play tackle or guard?
  5. crossing my fingers that TJ Clemmings lasts until pick 25 this round...
  6. i think i will pick some up tonight. how much does it usually cost?
  7. haha after thursday night, you had better not! of course neither can i bro, for the same reason. that scotch you brought was pretty good though. i was impressed. it didnt taste like gasoline to me like most American whiskeys do.
  8. i would be comfortable with an RB in any round from here on out. there are some great talents out there still. Buck Allen, Robinson, Mike Davis (Go Gamecocks!), etc. do work Gettleman!
  9. KB with his dreds would have to be Predator. Funchess has short-cut hair and would obviously be Alien. haha
  10. GAH nfl with the tear-jerker story about the little girl.... haha my gawd so they will only have a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 7th? or do they have comp picks?
  11. patriots with Jordan Richards at the bottom of the 2nd? good lord he seemed like a 6th round talent to me...
  12. im wondering if the Panthers think the answer is on the roster with respect to our speed receiver. we have Stephen Hill and Corey Brown, not that either is proven by any stretch of the imagination. and Funchess' 4.47 isnt bad. Ginn will obviously be our go to speed guy going into the preseason, but thats three young receivers that have the physical tools to take the top off an opposing defense. that said... i guess im assuming that Gman and Co. actually thought a speed receiver was a need. Funchess can certainly be a #2, but i think part of some fans' disappointment is that we didnt get a #2 that was also a burner. they certainly said that they wanted to get faster this offseason, and they have succeeded in that, i think.
  13. can he get separation? how are his hands? not trying to provoke. im truly curious. wow i hope that metaphor turns out to be true because rookie tackles were going to change that significantly? riiiiiiiiight.... we'll go with that source?
  14. that may mean that they really wanted Humphries pretty bad....
  15. i will admit that its better than last year. but its still pretty exhausting...
  16. Sounds like Gettleman has good roots family wise, and comes from an excellent football pedigree. my God the future is glaringly bright for this franchise. Enjoy it boys! i am stoked to enjoy the next decade+ of Panther football!!! yea i sometimes wonder what head coach Gettleman would have chosen if the Panthers had fired Hurney and Fox together. i honestly think Rivera may have still been a top consideration, and its vanity to speculate too much now. but it is interesting to think about
  17. YOU. ARE. AWESOME. then again... talk about cat piss:
  18. from the highlights ive seen, even the ones where he scores on a long bomb, he has a DB draped all over him. in the NFL, those DBs will intercept, or at least knock down, those passes. idk how such a speedster cant get separation, but i cant deny what my eyes tell me. the kid cant get separation in college. that DOES NOT translate well to the NFL. and besides, havent we had enough of receivers that cant get separation? now Phillip Dorsett on the other hand....
  19. some will I'm sure. I keep hoping that we will pick Dorsett in the first. I've been impressed with him versus pretty much every other receiver we have a chance at taking. back when he was still being mocked in the 4th and 5th rounds, I kept wondering why he wasn't a 1st or second rounder and now he is. he and Thompson have the same value to me. I wish the Panthers would draft one and trade up in the second to snag the other. doesn't matter to me which. I honestly would rather have Dorsett than Agholor or Smith. Smith always seems to have a corner draped all over him like he can't get separation. and I'm with you, Agholor just seems like more of what we already have.
  20. well done sir. I hath pied thee. I do have a question though... do you think we would have to trade up to take Strong the second?
