We can pull excuses over and over and over but fundamentally Bryce just hasn't shown the ability to lift other players up. Maybe he'll look better with an all-pro offensive line and a great receiving corps, but there's a solid chance he'll be gone before that happens. He's gonna have to be able to make do with less until 2025 at minimum.

Randy Mueller in Athletic on Tepper and Bryce
TN05 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d love to see what formula he used that determined a historically tiny QB was likely to be a Super Bowl champ -
And your reaction to one game where Bryce merely looked below-average, not awful, is to act like he won the superb owl
-
He’s not wrong. His hedge fund was built on waiting for investments to pay off. He wasn’t impatient there.
-
Well, it doesn't matter if we win or lose at this point. But I'm not going to be watching anymore Youngball this season. I've seen enough 185-yard, 1 interception, 10-point games to last a lifetime.

They are purging anyone on the team not fully onboard for Bryce, if he doesn’t turn this around I can’t imagine what that would do to the guy.
-
I’d rather see dalton because I’d like to score more than one touchdown a game
-
I don’t hate Bryce at all. I hope he succeeds. But I don’t get the optimism. I’ve just not seen “it” this year. we’ll find out next year, I suppose

ESPN Analytics: Bryce Young 431 of 431 QBs since 2011 in yards per dropback

Hope for the best, expect the worst. I'm pulling for him to succeed, but I'm not gonna pretend it's likely. -
Frank Reich Fired as Panthers HC - Official
TN05 replied to NJPanthers12's topic in Carolina Panthers
Don't care. Hate both Tepper and Mr Tepper. They need to never make another football decision ever again. -
He drafted Bryce
-
If you start Dalton, Dalton will look better and this won't help Bryce at all
-
Why wouldn't he? He's not in control. He didn't get his QB and is stuck with Young, who doesn't fit the scheme and looks really bad. It's a lost cause. Tepper wanted Bryce. He got him, no matter the cost.
-
Reich was probably brought into this with the idea of drafting his QB and picking his staff. He got the staff... but Tepper demanded Young. Reich caved. And now Young looks really bad, and Reich looks bad as a result. The real problem here is Tepper. Reich isn't a great coach, but I don't think he's this bad. Every bit of our offseason lands on Tepper. The knives are going to start coming out once heads roll, and I think a lot of people are going to start talking about how this wasn't their choice once they lose their jobs.

Cam’s accuracy issue was always on shorter throws, though, and he resolved that by the end of his career. Looked awesome in 2018 before his shoulder was murdered
-
He was possessed by the ghost of Teddy Bridgewater in that moment
-
That wasn't Tepperball though! It has to be winning his way.

Did Andy dalton struggle here?

Don’t forget all-pro linemen as well once literally every player on the offense is good, Bryce might actually look like an NFL starter
